The variety of hardware on offer is excellent. We started with the Square Reader for £5 when our business just started. Now that the business is growing, we've upgraded to the Square terminal to have a more professional means of taking payments. Square Gift Cards just recently purchased and these are selling very well with loyal clients who want a discount for their repeat business. The Square Appointments app is not nearly as functional as we need. There is no ability to book appointments that require multiple rooms (e.g. a Couple Massage) or a single room that requires multiple staff members (e.g. 4-Hand Massages). If these new features were added, we would be booking all of our appointments via Square Appointments - both over the phone and online. This, in turn, would allow our business to significantly increase the number of bookings we make as the bookings would not be constrained to the number of people available to answer phone calls - reducing the time and cost spent taking bookings and also increasing revenue. Please add the required features. Also, would like to be able to use Square Appointments on the Square Terminal as the handheld device is ideal for how our therapists roam around the venue, interacting with clients, taking payments, selling gift cards, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Have not found anything unhelpful with square. No solution is needed as of yet. Maybe add some more business categories to customize more easily, for example, lawn care business. The best thing about Square is how easy it is to setup. You just add your bank account, company name, etc and you're good to go. You can start taking payments right away without needing a card reader (by entering the card details in manually). You can customize your receipts contracts, invoice everything!
