"Good for startup"
4/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Too easy to use. Its UI and UX are way too amazing. I can buy it for even at more price. It provides the great values with even a free plan which I like the most. Customer support is very helpful it can be trustworthy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

It has a very limited scope of customization. For startups its hard to spend on a premium package of it as it does not allow all features in the free version. Also, the payment processing options are very few what I hate the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great option to try for beginners"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The free option is a great chance for a beginner to see what it's like to create a web site. There are quite a few templates to choose from and the price is certainly right for those who don't have a marketing budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Sometimes the tools didn't work quite like I wanted them to. Most were easy to use, but I had to play around with a few of them to understand how they worked. I would have loved some video tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A web builder easy to use "
3.5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

This Weebly platform differs in its simplicity compared to the competition, is designed for people who do not want to spend time designing a website or simply have no knowledge to design a page from scratch. The entire platform has a large functional unit that focuses on drag and drop elements to place them where you want. This is an advantage over Wordpress.org or Wix that while intuitive are not designed to offer a 100% friendly experience.

With more than 70 templates offers a wide range of options to suit the needs of the consumer, the times I have used these designs have had good impact by the modern and fluid design. An interesting feature and that many CMS or e-commerce site builders is the facility to change templates without having to upload the content again.

Building a site with Weebly is very easy with drag and drop as you can choose the elements and leave them fixed where you want and just give a big blue button to publish the advances as you progress in the design of the page. The statistics are adequate to the plan you buy and in the free plan are not very reliable, you must buy some plan to get reliable and more comprehensive visitor statistics.

The free option is limited because it does not allow you to add text or audio, you will have to buy some of the plans that stand out are very cheap and affordable. The features are very comfortable and you save time to have a domain name, SEO capacity, monetization, visitor statistics, ample storage space and backup capabilities that although they are deficient, if they exist within the platform. What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

I could not move elements to certain places on the website because it is not allowed, the drag and drop function is very useful but in certain places of the website is not possible to place elements, I'm sure Weebly solve this problem in future versions. Also it would be interesting to be able to modify completely the themes that come by default, for example it would be useful to be able to change the colors of the whole template, for now those are the biggest drawbacks that I have been presented in Weebly. "Useful website builder for free"
4/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The website builder makes making a free website effortless and easy. To connect your domain is really cheap too. Their plans overall are cheap for site owners to start out especially for someone looking into doing eCommerce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The downside of using the free version of weebly is heavy weebly branded advertising on your website. If your serious about your site you are pretty much forced to buy a plan otherwise weebly will heavily advertise their own ads and have weebly banners on every page of your site. "Easy tool for making your own website"
5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Weebly is a great easy to use app for website building that has all of the basic tools needed for a small business to thrive. I love the fact that everything is simple to use and I am able to quickly create websites for business or even as prototypes for business ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

I love that there are great templates and drag and drop features, but I do wish there was the option to be more precise such as a tool like Wix provides. I have some graphic design knowledge, so if I could get more intricate that would be helpful at times. I've tried working with the code, but without a lot of training it's challenging to do that effectively and it upsets the template. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good platform for small e-commerce sites "
2.5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

This platform provides an easy way to have an e-commerce site in a short time without the need for complex configurations, it continues to gain customers even though it is little known. It is characterized by its simplicity and free of additional installation and hosting configurations. It stands out for its convenience and added value when presented in a drinkable way the $50 of the work already done, the rest depends on the product you are going to sell and your ability to produce successful sales. With a somewhat heavy web design and unreliable pricing structure, Weebly is a quick option to sell online.

The platform works as a large unit in which the entire design simplifies the entire process of creating the website by simply dragging and dropping the elements of the website, is very easy to manage because it has a user-friendly approach and is recommended for users or employees with little programming experience. It is not as strong as the main competitors Shopify that has a multitude of configuration options and greater speed but fulfills its mission by providing a medium speed in the work of building web pages. The site statistics tool is useful and well designed but those who want more details can easily integrate the Google Analytics utility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Weebly doesn't convince me because when you enter its main page you can already notice a certain slowness in the loading of the page, this is a feeling that the editing platform will also be slow. And yes, it is slow when you try to perform tasks that demand resources such as dragging and dropping multimedia elements. Let's say that Weebly facilitates the work by making everything easier with just drag and drop but requires more power in that data processing, this is never going to be achieved in a web-based environment, would have to be moved to a web host to work as quickly as desired as with Wordpress.org.

SEO capabilities are limited and it is not very easy to program the parameters because the HTML edition is limited. The same happens with templates that with an unmodern design require mostly color changes but Weebly blocks these changes especially in free plans.

A challenge for Weebly is to make its content editor more robust so that it is possible to move elements throughout the entire page and not present the errors we have experienced such as not being able to move an image to the top right corner, for example, because the editor does not allow it.

The pricing structure is very limited and cheap, to improve performance must charge higher prices and invest in improving the platform because at times has been left far behind its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Most Features Are Amazing, Blogging - not so much. "
3/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The customization features when building a web page are pretty good. The system is intelligent, so if you move things around it auto-moves things around as you make your changes. The UI is pretty cut-and-dry, unless you are absolutely new to site-building, you won't have any problems creating project sites. It has a general aesthetic that is pretty pleasing - you can find yourself getting more and more creative as you continue to develop your project. Lots of elements/options, and loading is much better than others; no lagging, no freezing, and no lockouts. I'm happy with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The blogging feature is absolutely atrocious! It's a required element for clients who request it, or when a project needs something like a "company news and updates" page - but there is no option to group posts - only way is by month - i.e, "December 2018" or "March 2019" and for longer articles, this is a problem because what you end up with is endless scrolling. Not enough options for managing the blog section, either. No indication that user management is possible - but they do have a "require approval" option for comments. If you're not going to use the blog services, though, you should be fine. The sitebuilder as a whole isn't more creative, nor more intuitive, than Wix. Themes seem to be rigid, as well - too few have too few customization options. I need control of every line, dot, and circle - and this just isn't it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic, excellent"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

The servers use clean energy, have very good templates, and the potential they have in loading speed is magnificent, one of the best hostings for loading the web, a pity they don't sell that service separately from the package.

The ease of their drag and drop system makes it very easy and even fun to create a web page, well, to design a web page, despite having some limitations, they can be solved with HTML. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Domain prices are inflated, it's very noticeable that on any well-known website you find domains for half the price or less. The lack of flexibility in the paid services it offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Weebly, your website builder."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Weebly is an easy-to-use and accessible website builder, for beginners or small businesses this is the best tool. First of all, what I would highlight the most is the wide variety of templates that are also of high quality. The SEO support is perfect in all paid plans, free SSL certificates that guarantee your security between the browser and the website you visit, something essential nowadays. It is a mobile-adaptable tool and today it is essential that any tool can be useful on any device. Finally, I would highlight its technical support, the speed with which they can solve any question or problem is impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?

Like most tools of this type, perhaps the price is the only small problem when using Weebly. The web hosting in its free version is too small (only 500mb). If you want to take full advantage of this tool, you will have to pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
