The drag-and-drop elements are straightforward, and the visual cues show you where the content will show up on the page. I also haven't had any real issues on website uptime and the speed of my sites is fairly good, even ones with video backgrounds. I would say the price of the plans is fair and average for what you'd expect to see across the board on website tools. **What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?** While it is super simple, it is also fairly basic. There aren't a ton of ways to make your site very different from the other Square Online sites out there. It does give you some custom controls, but those are fairly limited too. Though if you're building a site through Square Online, you're probably not worrying about coding too much. I've also noticed the SEO capabilities seem to be lacking. While Google and other search engines prefer to see a lot of H1 tags in your site to differentiate content, Square Online defaults your titles to H2, with no buil-in way to override that easily. There are some apps you can use with your site that give you more control over the header tags, but that adds complexity. **What problems is Square Online (formerly Weebly) solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I'm making a basic website for a client, I used to make everything from scratch. I'd start with a text document, write all of my HTML and CSS and upload that to a server and slowly troubleshoot the issues with my code. Square Online gives me a much faster and easier way to get a basic website up and going. Anytime I've had issues with something on their platform, I've found the chat support to be very helpful and responsive. So when I'm making a quick and easy website, Weebly (Square Online) is where I start. ### 2. I can add images I create, link to other sites, and include various widgets. I recently attempted to set up a new user with a Weebly site and accidentally selected the "online store" option, which locked them into a Square site designer. Square is awful; the web designer is significantly lacking and doesn't measure up to Weebly. It took me a week to sort things out and get them onto Weebly. Weebly does not offer what I need to manage my clients. Some of the templates are very limited. HTML skills are required to make the site more customized. In the summer, the farm stand I manage uses square at three locations and at every location, people always ask if we use square and if we accept pay by phone or pay by tap. Maybe it is Us, maybe we are missing something, but after about 6 years of use, we cannot seem to figure out how to separate each location under the same account. It would be incredible if we could link different square devices to different stores without having three separate accounts. To a fault. There certainly are content blocks that include custom HTML, but I still feel handcuffed by only two limited ways to display that HTML. The product page design also leaves a lot to be desired. A straightforward layout, no tabs to help organize content, just one long, visually unappealing block of text is all you get. My pet peeve is you can't display a YouTube video on a product page, so any video I've made for a product, I can only post a text link, which takes customers off my site. Not cool. Also, as a person with some coding experience, I find it frustrating that I can't add anything to the template or edit the CSS. Square support is hit & miss, it really depends on the question, and depends on the customer service agent you happen to connect with.
