I used it for our booster club and loved that we didn't have to pay to use it as we had limited funds. It may not be as vastness or extra freedom of Wix but it definitely has every thing you could possibly need and still manages to remain daunting. Above all, my favourite feature is that no matter how much content you pack your website out with, you will still get a slick and responsive site, which is actually wix's biggest weakness, for all its advantages, it suffers a trade off responsive quick loading times for the most freedom a web builder can offer you. **What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?** if I had to choose, weebly's biggest (and maybe only) weakness is its lack of themes. Not that it doesn't have a significant amount of varied themes but in comparison to a vast collection like wix, Its slightly belittled, however I'm sure more these will be added in time. **Recommendations to others considering Square Online (formerly Weebly):** When considering a free web builder your choices really come down to Wix, Weebly, and Jimdo among a few others. if you'd like to do a lot of flashy fancy decorating on your site then Wix might be the way to go, If e-commerce is your thing then I hear Jimdo is the best choice for this. If I make a lot of changes and then want to go back to what I had before, the only thing I can do is exit out and hope I didn't already publish the page. You can literally build a solid good looking website in under a day, which isn't the case for other platforms I have used. The interface is ideal for beginners and can be very good for someone just starting out. The sign up is free and the free websites do offer quite a bit of freedom for the user, but the Pro platform is overall a better option for someone using it regularly and updating often. **What do you dislike about Square Online (formerly Weebly)?** I dislike that it can't have direct publishing from other software such as Hootsuite, etc. I also had difficult verifying with certain social media outlets that the website was in fact mine because it was not easily to load code into since its a visual drag and drop platform with little to no code interaction. **Recommendations to others considering Square Online (formerly Weebly):** I recommend upgrading to the pro service, I found it was worth the added expense. **What problems is Square Online (formerly Weebly) solving and how is that benefiting you?** I originally had a website through Wix, and it was difficult to update the blog section wasn't easily verifiable or flexible enough for my needs. Wordpress required a bit more coding than I am comfortable with so Weebly was the perfect inbetween. You can create your own layout using HTML and you can also use some of the pre-build ones as well (or pay for 'upgraded' layouts). The text and image layouts make it very easy to make your personal website look like it was made by a pro.
