What do you like best?

Squadcast was amaziling easy to integrate in our existing procedures and systems, having it operating from day one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wouldn't say "dislike", I think there are many possible enhancements to do as in any product, but out of the box each feature was useful for us. The UI/UX for managing schedules for our squads could be improved as an example of this.

The absence of a method on its API for creating an incident makes the product less integrable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Schedulers is great, it gives various tools to setup a Oncall, Maintenance, ... planning.

in the other Hand Squadcast provides form for SLA and Postmortems, Integration of alerts with Slack, Github, Circle CI.

Also, Escalation is what's I really like about Squadcast! It covers Push Notifications, SMS‌, and Calling as you scheduled on schedulers.

For measuring KPIs on Dashboard it gives s MTTA and MTTR which shown average time of Alerts Acknowledgments and Alerts Resolving.

One thing they saw on their Software support beforehand is Feature request form! It's so relevant and helpful.

Creating teams (squads) is kind of cool too, it is fast and easy to setup your team and give a try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Schedulers ! Although it's great but lack of integration with google Calendar and Apps like Slack feels so much.

Calls, there were some cases that no one rang on the team after an Escalation of Alerts to the team level!

I think status page feature needs to change to a more useful feature and Dashboard could be more better and informative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Try it today and Save Sleep time of your NOC and SRE Teams!

Integrate Squadcast with your communication tools and monitoring easily and plan your Shift and Escalation policies.

Saving Team's SLEEP! Really, it help us to integrate Alerts with Notifications and Calls, all in Slack !

Measuring KPIs of the team and team members.

What do you like best?

Squadcast combines incident response and status page features into a package that is great value. Squadcast has 90% of the features you need which is great for small teams such as ours. The free tier is very generous. They have a public roadmap where it is clear they are committed to regularly updating the product and adding new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Some features that are present in competing products aren't yet implemented. For example, there isn't a way to schedule upcoming maintenance. I'd like more ability to customise the status page and present app metrics on it. I'd like closer integration with Slack. I'd like to suggest a runbook when an incident has been triggered.

The UI is sometimes a little buggy or confusing. For example, the calendar view displays our rosters in a way that looks like there are missing weeks. The UI for editing a status page is not clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Trial the free tier. Learn how it works and how it should be configured by setting up dummy services, policies and rosters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use Squadcast for incident response, on-call roster and status page management. We use it for public and internal services. What do you like best?

- Its very easy to change witch team are responsible for with services with it's service abstraction

- The status page feature helped us to improve our avaliablity report to our clients without any aditional development required

- There is some notifications that cannot be disabled yet, like "Reminder: Your upcoming on-call shift for..." email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was looking for a replacement to other incident management service that we used at a lower price. But Squadcast have one feature that helped us a lot, it's status page. What do you like best?

The way I can organize working teams and corresponding shifts, integrating smoothly with existing tools as JIRA. For us important to keep round robin dynamics and shifts due to our 24/7 support on every timezone worlwide. Squadcast has helped us to organize this specific topic and provide us a visual tool to use a calendar so every colleague can see when/time it is assign to the next shift. What do you like best?

The pricing for the product cannot be beaten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The platform needs a lot of tweaks to bring it to the level of competitors like OpsGenie and PagerDuty.

Escalation policies are not intuitive and to be frank, I am not even sure if my employees are receiving them. In an ever-growing remote workforce, knowing my team has been pinged is critical.

The on-call scheduling is tedious, at best.

The on-call display is not dynamic, I must sign out and back in across Chrome/Safari/Firefox in order for it to update.

I cannot transition or re-assign tickets via Slack, which OpsGenie and PagerDuty can both do with ease.

The product has the potential to be fantastic, however, at this stage, it isn't worth the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are willing to work with an organization and understand that it may not be fully complete, then SquadCast may be a good idea. If you need a completed product, go with someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We want to solve engineers burnt out on solving issues. To avoid that, we create on-call schedule so only one person need to care about issues, not all. Squadcast help to handle the on-call schedule.

Beside that, we also use the alerting and escalation mechanism. When the alert happens, squadcast will do give a call. This help engineers to be off screen and still notified when there's an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

It's way cheaper than the competitors, include all the features you really need, support is ultra responsive and the platform keep evolving. When they say that a feature will come, it will, and fast ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The mobile app is not the best but does the trick. PSTN fall back does the trick in case the app is not working and I'm confident that they will fix/improve the app in the future/ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used to have a call center dispatching after hours calls from our customers and a global sms/alert list for service incidents. The global SMS list were disturbing people not on call, and call center was not providing any real value to the customer. After hours calls now goes to a voicemail2email and with the email integration in SquadCast, the on call technician is alerted directly, without any third party involved. Since I started working with Squadcast, they have remained consistent in their customer-centric approach. They have implemented many of our features requests which are critical to our fast-paced industry of ever-evolving technology and growing requirements. Easy insights around issue acknowledgement and resolution timings and other stats.

What do you like best?

Squadcast is not just an incident management tool. The best part that I like is the incident discussion history can be used as a knowledge base for the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As of now nothing, the product seems to be very mature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We managed multiple systems which had huge traffic with a very small team. More like every individual in the team was responsible for more than 2-3M of API calls. We used schedules to properly manage who was on call and not, the history worked really well, to transition folks and the analytics gave a high-level view which is really important when reporting the same to the stakeholders.
