Tons of data, great analysis of competitors and ways to compete (both strategic and tactical). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did not know this before purchasing our license, but the tool is not designed for companies that compete locally. As a small law firm we fight for market share vigorously. When I noticed that some of the reports and data did not apply to us I reached out to support where they told me it was not designed to be used like we were.
From Support:
"....we index on a national level only. If your domain is focused only on local and only advertise locally, it is going to be incredibly difficult for us to see your domain's advertisements."
We use Google Adwords, Facebook and Yelp to advertise with a large budget, but our ads are hyper focused on a small region. So I am kind of bummed, but at the same time the tool still provides us a good amount of data, and we already bought it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks for taking the time to share a candid review, Eric. I hear you about local data. We try to bridge the gap for local business to research what's happening on a larger scale. It's easier to pick up on trends and developments when there are more advertisers to pull from.
