**What do you like best about SPRY?**

Spry has been a game-changer for our clinic, primarily due to its intuitive design, seamless onboarding, and exceptional ongoing support. The platform is easy to learn and navigate, allowing our team to become efficient quickly, while Spry’s team handled our migration and continues to provide hands-on guidance through dedicated clinical and billing account managers. Their support has improved both our workflows and revenue processes, especially by optimizing insurance and cash-pay systems. Additionally, the robust reporting tools give us clear insight into profitability and operations, helping us make smarter business decisions. Overall, Spry has not only increased our efficiency but also strengthened my confidence as a clinic owner.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

One downside of Spry is the occasional system glitches. While they aren’t frequent, they can be frustrating when they occur—particularly when the HEP program doesn’t sync with the note as expected, requiring extra time to correct.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spry is solving several key challenges we faced with previous EMR systems, particularly inefficiency, poor usability, and lack of meaningful support. Its intuitive design and streamlined workflows have made daily operations much more efficient, while the hands-on onboarding and ongoing support ensure issues are quickly resolved without disrupting clinic flow. Additionally, Spry addresses gaps in billing and business visibility by providing dedicated billing support and robust reporting tools, allowing us to better manage insurance versus cash-pay services and clearly understand our clinic’s financial performance. **What do you like best about SPRY?**

User interface is clean and performs well. I use it primarily for the billing side as a non-clinician and it does allow for fast and efficient billing processes. We are able to close many claims and faster than ever before when we used WebPT billing.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

SPRY is a relatively new software in the game and will occasionally run into scenarios that they have never encountered before and need to work to set up their system accordingly. 

For example, we are a Medicare Part A Certified rehab provider (not outpatient Part B), we have slightly different rules for submission to medicare. It took a few months and many meetings and trial/error for us to be able to bill medicare properly.

They are helping us to be efficient and using technology to benefit our staff and save us time.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

I like how SPRY is customizable and how easy it is to ask questions. I also really enjoy that, at any time, I can see the billing and the notes. On top of that, they’ve set up customized dashboards that help speed things up and make it easier for the front office, so we can help patients more. I also enjoy how the SPRY team is always available to help no matter the time of the day. I would highly recommend SPRY to any clinic looking to have a smooth and wonderful experience to be able to help all their patients.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

I don’t have anything I dislike about SPRY. They’ve been nothing but great since day one, and I would recommend them to anyone.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPRY has helped us a lot, and I haven’t had any problems that I can recall. Everything SPRY has done has been to our benefit, and they’ve made the process easy and smooth from start to finish. We benefit from SPRY every day, and I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

The way all of the intakes and documentation notes can be customized. I like the prompt response via Slack channel when I have any questions. The AI is amazing and I barely have to write anything in my notes. It writes a subjective eval note way better than I can myself. It also picks up on things that I may not have. The AI can take a fax and create a patient, too.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

The reports need a little work, but Spry is working on these. They are always working on upgrades and take your feedback to heart.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time it takes to document is cut in half or more. This allows time for training, reduces overtime, and just allows my autonomic nervous system to calm down!

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

Spry is very user friendly. We have been able to train new employees easily on the system. The team is very responsive when we have issues or need help and are very open to suggestions. Thet are very communicative throughout the process of our requests, giving us concise timelines as to when we can expect things to be completed.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

There can sometimes be a breakdown in communication where we have to explain things multiple times before it is taken care of, due to the number of people who are working on our system. While the ease of submitting our requests and the quick response time is nice, it gets tiresome having to explain things multiple times because they have not dealt with this issue previously.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of use for everyone. We had issues with a previous system in areas of billing and patient portal use. We have not launched our patient portal yet, but patients are able to easily fill out online paperwork and make bill payments through the system.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

We love the customization features. Being able to use the slack messaging system allows for prompt responses from the spry team. Larger or more Complicated requests do take 
 more time. 

The platform continues to roll out new features which make the user interaction and workflow more efficient. Setting up virtual meetings with the spry team is a real plus when we need more communication that isn't ideal through slack  or email.

Our patients appreciate the text, email reminds and ease of paying bills online.

Customization for appointment type, therapist, etc. via color schemes is really helpful for ease of looking at the schedule.  Icons for co-pays,  appointment type and status, etc are excellent for ease of looking at the schedule.

Appreciate the system prompting us if information is missing, specifically with billing and units billed.

 System allows you to look for an open or un-initiated follow-up soap note/evaluation/ re-evaluations in order not to miss charting and billing.

The AI Scribe has become a game changer. It has improved over the past 2 years and is remarkably intuitive. The user still needs to review the information but it streamlines the evaluation and documentation workflow to create a robust and efficient process, saving time. It is amazing that it will capture verbalized objective measures and place into the proper location in the chart. We do not tend to use it for SOAP notes, primarily only for evaluations. The goal setting feature tends to be vague and ambiguous unless the clinician and patient have clearly verbalized goals during the dictation portion. 

We do not use the exercise flowsheet at our office. 

The SOAP format is easy to follow and our staff appreciate the easy to view interface. 

Our clinic has 2 speciality services: Lymphatics and Vestibular. SPRY has either created workflows for us or had already had workflows in place for these services. They have met our requests for customization/alterations as needed for our specific needs. They continue to work with us on development of additional workflows/packages for alternative services. 

SPRY is working with us on maximizing our billing processes in conjunction with current billing rules and insurance requirements.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

There is some redundancy in information being requested of patients at the intake portion. Occasionally, like any EMR/tech platform, there are rare glitches, which usually can be easily rectified via a Slack message. At times, the response to requests for corrections/modifications is less than idea and requires follow-up requests; this is rare but does occur.

Thorough and Complete documentation. Customization For clinic specific needs, therapist specific needs.  Near immediate responses via Slack for issues or modification requests.

The ability to customize the system to my practice, along with access to many different features, makes day-to-day work easier and smoother. I also appreciate the consistent support from the Spry team across all departments. Having the option to implement specifics that my practice needs is a big plus; anything I request, they make it their mission to make it happen. Overall, it’s an easy-to-use EMR that is constantly rolling out upgrades to make it even easier to use.

At this moment, I don’t have anything negative to say. The only thing I would mention is the billing side—I’d appreciate a bit more communication and transparency when it comes to billing and claims.

The billing aspect, I am the operations manager and office manager and get swamped with tasks in clinic most of the time but I reach out to spry and they get right on it. It allows me more time to take care of the patients and in clinic work.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

The user interface is really easy to use. My note writing time has been cut down to a few minutes, whereas previously it was taking a significant amount of time to write notes. The dictation feature is extremely helpful, and while I am generally against AI integration, this is an area where I am extremely in favor of its use. It is an extremely intuitive product and all of my patients prefer this products to different EMRs that I have used in the past.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

My onboarding process was difficult and full of road bumps. I was given inaccurate advice initially in regards to the credentialing process that significantly delayed my ability to take insurance. The ease of the credentialing process was oversold in my initial meeting with Spry. My training has also been inconsistent, either shortened or delayed due to not having been credentialed.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest two are it's ease of use and the billing team. I came from a company that was using Athena as it's documentation system. This is miles better than Athena and is better than other documentation systems I have used in the past, including WebPT. The billing team also significantly improves my daily life, saving me the headache of having to submit claims on my own.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

After being in business for over 30 years, and using many different platforms, I have never had the ability to see the money collected in real time. Spry is the most transparent platform in many ways, but the ability see what has been paid and what is outstanding for each patient broken down into dates of service is beyond helpful. In addition you can run many financial reports, similar to some Quick Books features, and that information lets you see where you excelling and where you could use improvement.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

The platform does so much that it may take you a few weeks to feel comfortable, but once you get it, there is no going back. Sonia and Shivani have taken the time to meet with me through Zoom calls and therefore my learning curve was shorten considerably.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transparency in billing. Besides seeing the financials in real time, I can see if, and where any claims are in the billing process.  I can see if any claims have been denied, need information, or are pending review in real time so we can get all claims paid as soon as possible.

The ease and automation in every point from service to the billing cycle.

It is missing a follow up workflow- claims that have had actions taken and need follow up a specific date.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SOAP Templates, automated dictation during visits, ease of claim review and approval, integrated clearinghouse, integrated with Square for taking payments, waitlists, workflows for every step of the billing cycle, electronic and paper submission, rejections, specifics actions needed, denials, and invoicing patient responsibility. We handle our own RCM so I cannot speak to their ability to do your claim follow up. They have tags for claims. Authorization tracking. automated claim payment posting with electronic ERA's. Reporting.  All of this has benefited us with more reliable income, from payers and patients, and ability to track claim status to follow up on denials.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

During my career of 26 years, I have utilized many EMR systems.  All systems have bugs that need to be fixed. Generally, clinicians are able to speak with someone from the EMR company to fix the problem in a reasonable amount of time. Our facility has used Spry for several months. The onboarding process was complex.  There are misspellings on the SOAP templates. The messaging platform (Slack) that is supposed to allow clinicians to communicate with Spry does not work. I have attempted to use "Slack" and have never gotten a response. I have sent emails to Spry regarding the Slack platform and no response after weeks. Currently, our therapists are not able to save our notes without an error code popping up. Therefore, we cannot submit charges. This has been going on for over a week. We were using WebPT and did not have any of these issues. I wish we had not switched.

Spry has not solved a critical issue and we have only been able to reach Spry through email. It is costing our business time and money.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

Spry's customer service is some of the best that I've ever had professionally or personally. They are extremely prompt with changes I'd like to make to the platform or assistance with various billing challenges that arise, they make sure my questions are answered or working on it within 24 hours.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

Some limitations and delayed response time for a particularly challenging patient who has primary insurance whom I am not credentialed but whose secondary i am credentialed with - relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things, however.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are processing all my billing claims through insurance in a timely manner, consistently updating thier use interface to provide ease and customizable use for documentation, and assisting with sending invoices. All these things reduce the amount of time I have to worry about administration tasks.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

The integration of documentation and billing, along with the option for them to handle billing, has been very convenient. Customer support has been excellent, consistently providing helpful assistance. The weekly billing meeting help with communication on challenging claims.  The new Customer success manager gives us a point person to reach out to with questions regarding software changes and follow up on other issues. They are always making improvements and releasing updates. The thoroughness and user-friendly design of the documentation process, especially with the use of AI Scribe, has made completing clinical notes much faster and easier.  The efax AI reader make creating and scheduling new patients quick and easy.  Therapists are easily able to schedule their clients for future appointments right from their treatment rooms.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

When reviewing the AR and Patient collection reports, it is not straightforward to access the Charge ID in order to view the ERA or claim history, or to navigate to the billing section of the patient account. Currently, I have to exit the report, go to the patient tab, search for the patient, then open the billing tab within the patient account, and finally click on the Charge ID to find the information I need.

SPRY allowed our clinic to move to a fully integrated documentation, billing and RCM system with a billing service option.

I am a solo provider and it has been very helpful to have the Intake information emailed to patients.  Spry provides scheduling link to be put on my website so that patients also have the ability to schedule appointments.  SPRY is very customizable and the SPRY support team has been very helpful with prompt response with different issues and answering questions.

So far I haven't come across anything this I've disliked as they are constantly updating and making changes to better work for the subscribers.

Spry is making is easy for me to see patients, document notes and making it easy for me to store on cloud so I don't have to worry about keeping physical charts in the clinic.

I have had no headaches when it comes to billing. The platform is easy to use allowing me to focus on PT specific tasks rather than technical issues. The platform has been a great bang for my buck.

The UI/UX tends to fall flat when using it on mobile. Documentation can be quite clunky and the AI scribe struggles to choose sections correctly. Navigation can be a pain when it opens too many tabs.

In choosing a program and company I analyzed many things. '
Compared to others Spry impressed me with:

Leadership direct involvement and accessibility to them
Program is specific to my field  vs generalized for charting
Live person demo for training vs just computerized
Learning curve faster due to amazing quick response to questions or action is just taken upon by team and I wake up and the task is already done by the team. 
Good communication amongst Swapnil, Pratik, Manish, Sakshi  and Shabum and Amit. Amit knows my communication messages even if not direct to him therefore he is knowledgeable about my tasks needed. This is timely without having to reexplain if I had already mentioned to another team member. 
AI is implemented. 
The service far exceeds cost and is less than researched of others. 
They are flexible not requiring extra add on services that I may not desire. 
I LOVE the flexibility, the human connect factor, and the solidness. They are another "partner" in my company they aren't just a service and program. My point lead Amit is thorough, compassionate, and accurate. When a person cares about their client confidence grows and he's got it! He goes the extra mile vs just to do what's required. He checks in with all and I see how the team has a mission to complete each aspect. I can't say enough. Also Swapnil, Praktik, Sakshi, Manish, Shabum, Saurab, Kapil and onboarding training. I've had interactions with so many of the company. Like family not a number.

This section takes me more time because I honestly have to think hard. If anything is possibly missed, once brought up it is addressed. I just would like the AI to be part of the intervention area also in time but the AI for the soap note part is great. And to do complete note on phone vs partial. But likely will be implemented and they welcome feedback.

Medicare payment for service that I provided where Home Health was still involved. Ideas to promote making videos to lessen my live time with patients  or special holiday promotions. The most helpful thing about SPRY is how quick and easy it is to use. It did not take much time to get used to after coming from another EMR system. I love the "verify eligibility" feature that lets me inform patients how much their co-pay is going to be. I am a daily user of SPRY and see several patients a day, and it has made documentation such a smaller portion of my treatment session with my patient, and I can focus more on the patient in front of me.

I do not dislike anything about spry! The only feature I would like to be added is something automated to tell me if the insurance the patient has is something that needs a referral or authorization after eval.

The Spry team has been incredibly receptive and devoted to solving the major problems that we had with our previous EMR. Spry has been very receptive to our customization requests. However, sometimes the customizations take a few days and a few trials to perfect. Spry's solving many problems unique to physical therapy as a specialty. Their billing dashboard is clean, simple, and easy to utilize. Billing rules improve our compliance with payer-specific reimbursement and compliance requirements. Their carry-forward feature in the documentation section makes charting a breeze. It's also easy to take documented exericse, add them to the patient's HEP, and assign them to the patient, which is improving our patients' compliance with their home exercises. Scheduling appts and creating charts is quick and easy. Their eligibilty checker pulls PT-specific benefits, decreasing the amount of time staff has to spend calling insurance companies directly to verify benefits. The ability to make customizations allows us to build and use an EMR that is unique to our needs and perfect for our company.

We have been using SPRY for about 3 months and the EMR is very customizable and user friendly.  SPRY also does our RCM and we have seen a significant improvement in collections and decrease in our AR since we made the switch.  It was also a very simple transition from our old EMR to SPRY.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

Being a newer platform they are still working on some of the Reports but any time we have requested a certain report they have been able to create it for us.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving our collections and AR which has improved our bottom line.  We have seen a decrease in denials and a decrease in days from billing to collections.  Our Physical Therapists are also very happy with the documentation and scheduling side of SPRY.

Patient treatment notes are the thing I do the most with spry and they have made the layout simple and efficient to complete. It is very nice that it carries over information from the previous visit that we can adjust on the current session.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

What stands out most about Spry is its efficiency in significantly reducing the documentation time required per patient. Previously, with our old Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, it would take about 30 minutes to complete documentation for each patient. With Spry, this time has been drastically cut down to just 7 minutes. This has greatly enhanced our operational efficiency and allowed us to allocate more time to patient care rather than paperwork.

Additionally, I am particularly impressed with the level of communication and customer service provided by the Spry team. They are responsive, eager to help, and genuinely interested in making sure their system meets the needs of their clients.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

As a newer player in the EHR market, Spry naturally has some growing to do. There are a few key features currently missing that would significantly enhance its utility from a practice management perspective. For instance, more robust integration capabilities with other systems are needed to streamline various office functions. Enhanced communication tools for better interaction with patients would also be highly beneficial, improving our ability to engage with patients effectively and efficiently. Additionally, adding inventory management functionalities would help in keeping track of medical supplies, which is crucial for any pt clicnical practice. These additions would make Spry more comprehensive and valuable as an all-in-one solution for pt practices.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spry efficiently processes medical billing, ensuring that claims are submitted consistently without the delays typical of batch processing systems used in the past. This regular and timely submission of claims has significantly improved our cash flow, allowing us to maintain financial stability and focus more on patient care rather than financial logistics.

**What do you like best about SPRY?**

I like SPRY EMR because of its all in one solution for clinics like mine. I like the organized and pleasant lay out for charting, customizable templates, reporting, credentialing, faxing, booking portal, email of intake forms, appointment reminders, credentialing and billing without extra fees. I have a dedicated success coach that is always available in my time zone. There are many ways SPRY is accessible to me either via email, text, phone calls, zoom meetings or the slack app. This keeps all involved departments in the loop regarding various stages in our implementation and the specific department provides answers quickly or reserches them if the solution is not readily available. In order to optimize charting and allow us to spend more time with patients, we have considered an AI scribe before and I am happy that this is also being developed in SPRY. I saw the demo of the AI feature at the most recent APTA CSM in Boston. It was quick and intuitive. SPRY's team is also made up of clinicians who undertand the importance of outcome measures with high clinical value, special tests relevant to each diagnosis and corresponding home program of exercises. I am looking forward to being guided on best charting practices, compliant and clean outpatient claims for timely reimbursement. From my very first encounter with SPRY at the Private Practice Conference in Austin, I already feel like they were my family and friends for a long time. That's an intangible that I have not experienced with other EMRs and I have used many. I hope that I can also contribute to making SPRY the best EMR, just as they have endeavored to support me all the way.

**What do you dislike about SPRY?**

A few minor bugs but easily fixed by attentive staff.

**What problems is SPRY solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SPRY is cost effective, it has many features that would otherwise cost extra with other EMRs. Being an all in one solution saves me so much time instead of dealing with different vendors. Customer support is accessible, friendly and endeavors to know me and my practice. This is important specially for a practice that requires customized templates as we have specialized and advanced interventions not offered at traditional physical therapy clinics.
