I love that there are so many options and the medical compliancy is not matched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user experience for the practitioner and the client is lacking. If you are a small business that is trying to learn so much including how to run taxes, an office, staff, etc, then Spruce is a headache. Unless you plan on using the most basic features and not learn much else, don't count on support to be excited to help you explore the rest of the capabilites that are available on the lower plan.
Instead, I was shuffled to about 10 different videos and articles,and told to attend their "Onboarding Session," which I was beyond. I was told I could spend time asking questions, which I did, but it wasn't enough to work out the kinks. They said I could attend another onboarding session to ask more questions after they lectured about the basics. Asked numerous times for additional one-on-one help, but was denied.

I really like the Spruce platform and the fact that it has a HIPAA option for direct messaging In addition to sending SMS messages. I also really love that I can call from my personal cell phone and have my phone number masked with The number of my office. It makes it convenient and easy to use anywhere. Spruce has been key in keeping in communication with my clients. It is an app on my phone and desktop that allows me to filter business vs. personal when calls come in. Safe, secure and there is an app for even more security should my clients decided to download it on their end. Couldn't do this work without it as a small privately owned business. HIPPA compliant communication, primarily text. Having my own phone and e-fax numbers. Having stable records of text conversations without bogging down my phone's memory. Accessible via App, Phone, or Internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The connection can be slow, so I have to wait for conversations to be updated.
Program needs to add group capabilities.
Update 5-14-24: I've stopped using the video conferencing platform because it is such a bandwidth hog that my clients are unable to obtain enough bandwidth for it to function. I don't like that calls have to come through my phone number. I know people can't see my personal number but it makes it a little more complicated.
