"All-in-One Social Content Management with Smart Inbox and AI Messaging Tools"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like that I can manage all of my social media content development in one interface/platform. For example, I can schedule posts, use the smart inbox to monitor and filter conversations while targeting user sentiment, and rely on the AI tools to help craft and polish my brand messaging. The integration of all steps of content management is ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

So far, I have not used the software for long enough to gauge potential problems or performance issues. It has done everything promised and we have received training with the implementation consultant on key features, all of which we have started implementing. One thing that could be improved is self-guided trainings within the software itself. The dashboard is a little overwhelming at first, as there are many icons to click on. A process or hierarchical flow may be more helpful, especially for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for your feedback! We understand that navigating the dashboard can be overwhelming at first, and we are continuously working to improve the user experience, including self-guided trainings within the software.

"Real-Time Feedback, AI Assist, and a Straightforward UI That Keeps Our Team Moving"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like the fact that you get real time feedback from comments on posts and it allows our team to respond to questions quickly within Sprout itself without having to juggle all the social accounts separately. This greatly assisted us during our recent product launch. The ai assist function also helps to choose the correct tone in writing content or replies, allowing you to choose between options such as "friendly" or "professional" which help reword your responses to match the situation appropriately. The UI is also straightforward and helpful and makes it easy to return to using the software after a period of absence for team members who don't use it as frequently as others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Sometimes integrating Facebook into Sprout can be challenging, and it can lead to issues on our end where content doesn’t get posted. That said, this may have more to do with the permissions configured on our corporate account than with Sprout itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're pleased to hear that Sprout Social has been a valuable tool for your team, particularly during your recent product launch. The real-time feedback, AI assist, and straightforward UI are designed to streamline social media management and it's great to hear that they've been beneficial for your team. We appreciate your feedback about the challenges with integrating Facebook, and we're committed to addressing any issues to ensure a seamless experience for our users. "Effortless Multi-Account Social Media Management in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is how it centralizes everything I need to manage social media in one place. The publishing calendar makes it easy to schedule content across multiple social networks, saving time and keeping campaigns organized. I also use the analytics and reporting features regularly to track engagement, identify top-performing content, and share clear performance insights with my team. Another feature I appreciate is the Smart Inbox, which brings messages from different platforms into a single view, so I can respond more efficiently without switching between apps. An unexpected benefit has been how much easier it is to collaborate with team members and maintain a consistent posting schedule, which has made our overall workflow more organized and productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social is a powerful platform, its pricing is a major drawback, especially for smaller organizations or growing teams. Some advanced analytics and collaboration features are only available on higher-tier plans, making it difficult to access the tools you need without upgrading. I would also like to see more flexibility in customizing reports and dashboards so they can be tailored to different stakeholders without extra manual work. Expanding the features available in lower-tier plans and offering more reporting customization would make the platform even more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're thrilled to hear that Sprout Social has been able to centralize your social media management and streamline your workflow. Our goal is to provide a platform that saves time and keeps campaigns organized, so we're glad to hear that you're finding value in the publishing calendar, analytics, and Smart Inbox features. We understand your concerns about pricing and feature accessibility, and we're constantly working to improve our offerings to better meet the needs of all users. Your feedback about customizing reports and dashboards is valuable, and we'll take it into consideration for future updates.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Honestly, there's nothing extreme that I dislike about Sprout, I think I would just say fixing some bugs with the Smart Inbox. I also think that there are some issues with reporting that need fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Hub for Social Engagement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love having everything in one place with Sprout Social, which makes it really convenient to engage with customers and manage client pages. I also appreciate being able to assign tasks to different teams, and I enjoy having conversations with my team or reading their notes tied to specific engagements. I appreciate the AI features which allow me to adjust my response based on tone. The canned responses come in handy when working with my multiple clients. I can\t speak to pricing as most of the systems I work with were already in place and we are a large team. However, I know that it's invaluable tool to me and my team. The performance is crazy fast like you're natively in the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I don't like that we can see TikToks we're tagged in but can't reply. I'd also like to be able to like stuff on TikTok and Instagram. integrating tiktok a bit more would be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

"Intuitive All-in-One Dashboard with a Game-Changing Smart Inbox"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

What I like best about Sprout Social is its exceptionally intuitive and clean interface. It seamlessly consolidates scheduling, robust analytics, and community management into a single, user-friendly dashboard. The Smart Inbox is an absolute game-changer for our team, ensuring we never miss a customer interaction. Additionally, the platform’s reporting features are visually sharp and incredibly easy to generate, making it simple to present valuable data to stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Honestly, there is very little to dislike about the platform itself because the features are top-tier. If I had to name one challenge, it would be the pricing structure. The per-user licensing cost can get quite expensive for growing teams, making it a significant investment. However, the value, efficiency, and time saved by the platform definitely justify the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're thrilled to hear that you find Sprout Social's interface intuitive and its Smart Inbox a game-changer for your team. It's great to know that the platform's reporting features are visually sharp and easy to generate, simplifying the presentation of valuable data to stakeholders.

"Comprehensive Reporting with Some Integration Limits"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like the content and post tagging feature in Sprout Social because it helps me report on content performance across platforms easily and see trends. It also allows me to collaborate with teams by showing trends and content, making it valuable for comparing topics and other content features of my posts. This feature helps us report in more detail on performance compared to the same time period as a whole, allowing for more in-depth reporting that we can provide to clients and use as takeaways for future content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I focus primarily on LinkedIn, and Sprout Social doesn't have as many LinkedIn integrations due to API limitations. This makes it difficult to do listening and monitoring, which we need to do. So we have to go outside of the tool for that. It's also hard to do general listening on LinkedIn, not just about specific topics, which is something our clients regularly ask for. I know this is an API limitation, but it's frustrating not to have everything on the same platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

We're glad to hear that our Premium Analytics, Tagging feature and dedicated support have been valuable for your agency partner needs. "Sprout Social: Easy Scheduling, Seamless Collaboration, and Helpful AI Assist"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social makes it easy to schedule posts, collaborate with team members, and manage all of our social channels from one central hub. One thing I use frequently is AI Assist when drafting social posts, and it really helps take our content to the next level. All of our social channels are able to be integrated with the platform. And, any time we've needed any sort of assistance, we get quick help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There are a couple features that I think would take Sprout Social to the next level, such as a "remove all images" feature when duplicating posts. I could also use a few tweaks to some of the reporting in the program itself, but we have discovered workarounds when we export the data. There are also some features Sprout has added that have not been the most useful to me, like the days social posts in Publishing popping up from the right, and not going away when I click to a different profile. I also don't love how I now have to toggle the left-side menu in order to create a new post, it was easier when it was right on the main page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're glad to hear that you find Sprout Social easy to use and that it has been beneficial for your social media management. Your feedback about the features you'd like to see improved is valuable to us, and we will definitely consider it for future updates. We appreciate your input and are committed to continuously improving our platform.

"Great UX and Zendesk Integration, but Pricing Makes ROI Hard to Justify"
3/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Personally the smart inbox x ZenDesjk integration is very helpful for my team, also love the tag management as it helps us see which pillars we should be posting about. Publishing is easier than other platforms and overall I think the UX is what keeps me as a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The cost of the platform is quite high for the features it provides in my opinion. Having to pay a lumpsum for each additional seat when this is mostly used as an organic social performance metric, the ROI on the platform has been difficult to justify. I also think that with the amount that I'm paying, you should be able to show me all metrics that Instagram insights and TikTok is showing. For TikTok I would love to see a breakdown between paid and organic performance, for Instagram I would love to see retention graphs and an integration with AI analysis to spot top performing posts + non-follower/follower reach and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We appreciate your positive feedback on the smart inbox, Zendesk integration, and tag management. We understand your concerns about the pricing and the need for more comprehensive metrics. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will take it into consideration as we work on enhancing our platform to better meet your needs.

"Easy Scheduling and Insights, But Integrations Can Break and Upgrades Costly"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout is very easy to use. I love being able to create a calendar of posts for a variety of accounts in one place. I also like being able to track insights through one platform vs having to log into multiple platforms and accounts. The integrations to multiple social media platforms are easy to set up. The pricing is reasonable for the basic posting and reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

My biggest complaint is that sometimes the integrations break and we aren't aware of it. Most posts can be resubmitted if they are missed due to a broken integration, but it can be frustrating if the content is timely. In addition, we often find ourselves logging into the platforms directly to take advantage of features inside of Reels and stories that aren't available in Sprout's UI. And it's difficult if we are running paid traffic to separate the performance of the organic posts vs paid posts in the reporting. The other complaint I have is that the pricing for upgrades like listening and AI are very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the integrations breaking. We are constantly working to improve this aspect of our platform to provide a more reliable experience.
