"Great for Scheduling, But Needs Better Media Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

That I can organize and schedule my social media posts all in one place and for different times. I also like the feature where I can write different posts for different platforms there as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I don't like how I can't post videos an pictures on one posts together. For example if I am posting picture and also want to add a video to that post it will not allow it. So then I have to do it on my phone directly to IG or FB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your experience with Sprout Social. We're pleased to hear that you find the platform convenient for managing your social media posts. We understand your concern about the media support, and we'll take that into account for future enhancements.

"Great for Team Collaboration, Needs Better Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like how easy Sprout Social is to use, and I like the listening feature. The team function is something I really appreciate, as it allows my manager to approve content while I can also schedule it on my own. Sprout Social solves my scheduling issues and enables cross-collaboration with my global team. I also like the approval feature, which allows my manager to stamp approval on content when it needs a gut check. Having this approval feature across my remote team is really valuable since it helps with communication when I'm unable to reach them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Sometimes the integration and the apps disconnect or, like the platforms, like Instagram or Facebook. It weirdly happens at really inconvenient times, and sometimes it's not Sprout's fault, but like Facebook's meta suite is just really hard to navigate. So sometimes those disconnects happen and it's really hard to reconnect them back on. I think uploading certain types of content that might be, like, too large of media can be difficult sometimes. Or the preview seems a little bit off sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social. We understand the frustration with integration issues and are actively working to address these challenges. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will continue to enhance the platform to provide a smoother experience for you.

"Highly Customizable Analytics and Effortless Cross-Platform Scheduling"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really like how many ways I can customize the analytics tools, and I also appreciate that I can schedule content to go live across our social platforms. That’s especially helpful when I’m trying to cross-post the same post on multiple different channels without having to do it all manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I do wish I could add approved audio from the commercial library directly in Sprout. As a social-first brand, this would be really helpful, since I currently don’t schedule video content within the platform for that reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the customizable analytics tools and cross-platform scheduling features. We understand the importance of streamlining the process of posting across multiple channels, and we're constantly looking for ways to improve the platform. We appreciate your feedback about adding approved audio from the commercial library and will definitely take that into consideration for future updates.

"Rock-Solid Scheduling and Reporting That Saves Hours Across Platforms"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I think the biggest benefit I get out of this application is the publishing and content calendar. It has been the primary reason I continue to use this service. As many of you know, it can be very LOUD in these spaces and while I will always say that the scheduling portion of this service is just solid (no issues), the posts go out when they should. The ability to send ONE piece of content to multiple platforms at the same time is a huge time savings as I was spending hours sending the same content to different platforms prior to using this service. In addition to being able to schedule your content, I find their reporting features to be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The only issue I have with publishing is that on occasion, content is rejected due to size restrictions when the files appear to be fine. Also, not every platform has full tracking capabilities, therefore I often need to pull native data from the applications themselves which sort of defeats the purpose of using a service like Sprout Social. This makes me need to go in and correct it manually. My small pet peeve: There isn’t an option to tag organic content created outside of the service AFTER IT HAS BEEN POSTED. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our scheduling and reporting features. We understand your frustration with content rejection and the limitations of tracking capabilities on certain platforms. We're committed to providing a seamless experience and will continue to work on enhancing our platform to address these concerns.

"Internal Tagging That Unlocks Deep, Campaign-Level Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love the internal tagging structure. We have a lot of users whom we are asking to deploy a lot of content. This has allowed us to track analytics on a level that we were not able to previously. Now I can pinpoint exactly how our campaigns and programs are performing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There are not many things that I dislaike about the tool. I think really most of my issues stem from the abilities Meta allows from third parties, which is not a Sprout issue at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're glad to hear that you are finding value in our internal tagging feature for deep campaign-level analytics. It's great to know that it's helping you track the performance of your content and campaigns more effectively.

"AI-Powered Insights, Needs Mobile Improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like how Sprout Social keeps my content calendar organized, which is important for managing social media posts. One of the best things is being able to post natively from Sprout. I really like the AI summaries and reporting summaries; they save me a lot of time since I don't have to manually pull reports for the accounts I manage. I also appreciate the Bitly link generator within posting, so I don’t have to go into third-party websites to make links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The app doesn't have an assigned task function anymore. The mobile app used to have it, which I miss because our customer service team monitors the comments and I don't do it myself. It would be great if we could assign tasks on the phone, with a lot of functions available so we can monitor things while we're away and offline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social's navigation and reporting. We understand your concerns about the mobile app and will work on enhancing its functionality for task management.

"The platforms offers a great user experience, functionality and ease of use compared to competitors"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Easy to use:

One of the standout features of Sprout Social is its intuitive interface. The dashboard is simplistic and straight forward design makes it easy to navigate. Whether you're new to social media or a seasoned expert, you'll appreciate how quickly you can get up and running with Sprout. The user-friendly design means less time spent wrestling with the platform and more time focusing on what really matters: crafting compelling content and engaging with your audience.

User-friendly:

The feature feels like it was designed with the user in mind, from scheduling posts to monitoring analytics. The platform also offers robust support resources, including tutorials and live chat assistance, which helps when immediate support is needed.

Design:

I feel the design is quite nice compared to other social management tools. The navigation is all listed on the left hand side and you can change the setting views for things like publishing, to different calendar views.

Modern platform:

Sprout Social is constantly evolving to meet the needs of modern marketers with features like advanced reporting, social listening, tagging and integrated customer relationship management (CRM).

Valuable add-ons:

It's convenient if you want the option to streamline your workflow with automation tools, enhance your content with image editing capabilities, or expand your reach with paid advertising integration. These add-ons are integrated into the platform, which provide good value without. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

It is a bit more costly compared to competitor tools, but it is more advanced in its offerings, so I understand the reason.

There's also an inconsistency with some features - analytics. Sometimes the data is duplicated or not tracked with the same results when looking at the analytics from the source channel.

Also, the tagging features appears to work inconsistently. Before when scheduling a post, you can label/tag the post as necessary. However, not if you publish a post NOT through Sprout Social, it doesn't allow you to label the post after it's been published (and shows up on Sprout Social). This is inconvenient since sometimes I would need to post directly to the native platform.

Also, sometimes a post would need to be deleted, however, when deleted you don't retain the performance analytics of the post, which is unfortunate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Melina Glackin of Sprout Social

We're thrilled to hear that you find Sprout Social's interface intuitive and user-friendly. Our goal is to make social media management as seamless as possible, so it's great to know that you appreciate the ease of navigation and the robust support resources. We understand your concerns about the cost and the inconsistency with some features, and we're constantly working to improve our platform to provide even more value to our users.

"Comprehensive Social Media Management with Room for Customization"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really appreciate how Sprout Social brings all of our company's social media management into one place. It consolidates everything into one dashboard, which includes reporting, publishing, and community management. The smart inbox is a big time-saver for me as it combines our comments and mentions. Sprout Social also improves collaboration within our team with features for approvals and workflows, which keeps us aligned and helps us respond faster without needing separate forms of communication like email or chats. The initial setup was fairly easy, and I had enough resources to get onboarded quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I would say probably making some of the reporting and analytics more customizable. It can be challenging to balance both our organic and paid performance across platforms. So having some more unified reporting with customization would save some extra time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social's publishing calendar, post preview, asset library, and tagging features. We understand your feedback about the analytics dashboard, pricing, and mobile experience, and we'll take it into account for future enhancements.

"Efficient Social Media Management with Minor Reddit Glitches"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I find the posting capabilities of Sprout Social to be very good, allowing me to include all the hashtags, audiences, and cross-post across different channels effortlessly. The calendar function is great for seeing everything that has been planned and scheduled. The approvals workflow is particularly helpful, making approvals very easy and keeping everything within the platform. I also appreciate the ability to assign comments and messages to specific people, which helps in responding quickly with the right information. The initial setup of Sprout Social was very easy, supported by training from Sprout. Overall, it's very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

We're having some issues with Reddit. We have a Sub-Reddit, but the comments made in the Sub-Reddit aren't going through to Sprout Social, and we've been unable to manage it. Making sure the comments are coming through to Sprout, as they are not at the minute, would be a necessary improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social's features such as posting capabilities, calendar function, approvals workflow, and ease of use. We understand the importance of managing comments from Reddit and will work on resolving the issue to enhance your overall experience with our platform.

"Everything Our Social Team Needed"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

As someone who manages community engagement every day, the Smart Inbox has been the biggest time-saver. I can monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and reviews from multiple platforms in one place instead of jumping between apps. It makes staying on top of customer conversations much easier and has helped our team respond faster and keep our inbox organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

One area for improvement would be more advanced filtering and search capabilities in the Smart Inbox, especially when working with tags. I'd also love the ability to react to Instagram comments directly in Sprout and have more workflow tools for reviewing creator and partnership inquiries. These enhancements would make community management even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're thrilled to hear that the Smart Inbox has been such a time-saver for you in managing community engagement. We're constantly working on improving our filtering and search capabilities, so your feedback is incredibly valuable. We'll definitely take your suggestions into consideration for future updates. Thank you for sharing how Sprout Social has benefited your team's efficiency and reporting quality!
