"User-Friendly Platform That Empowers Small Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really appreciate that Sprout Social is user-friendly, making it easy for new team members to learn the tools and quickly get up to speed. The platform simplifies the process of monitoring, scheduling, and managing social channels, especially for nonprofit and small business clients, by centralizing all activities, which eliminates the need to switch between various native channels. This convenience significantly reduces time and effort. Additionally, the platform offers insightful analytics and competitor data, allowing my small team to effectively function as a much larger team. The ability to quickly export reports when needed for client presentations is also highly beneficial. Moreover, Sprout Social provides excellent resources such as training calls and demo materials to help train new employees, which is crucial for getting them familiar with client performance metrics. I also have fond memories of the initial setup being straightforward and streamlined, which contributed to a hassle-free start. The overall experience has been so positive that we confidently recommend and endorse Sprout Social to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

As a small business, I am always conscious of costs, and this is an ongoing consideration for me. While Sprout Social does offer an agency model, which has not seen significant price increases over the years, I feel that more tools tailored specifically for nonprofit-serving agencies would be extremely beneficial. "Unmatched Reporting, Easy Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I think the reporting feature in Sprout Social is absolutely unmatched. I've used other social scheduling tools, and they do not offer the same level of reporting that Sprout Social provides. This makes the reporting capabilities amazing for me, allowing more effective data sharing with my C-suite compared to any other social media tool. Additionally, the setup was super easy, which is great for new team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I wish that there were more options for scheduling YouTube videos via Sprout Social. I feel that Sprout could do a better job of integrating video scheduling for YouTube, which would allow you to fill in all of the information that you could fill in on YouTube when uploading a video there natively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

We appreciate your feedback on Sprout Social's features and how they've benefited your social team. It's great to hear that scheduling posts and analyzing analytics have been valuable for your brand. We understand your concerns about the lack of Reddit integration and the additional cost for Social Listening features. Your input is important to us and will be shared with our team for review. Thank you!

"All-in-One Inbox and Reliable Scheduling That Keeps Us on Track"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout social has an "inbox" that includes all the direct messages and comments, so i don't have to open 10 different tabs to see if someone is upset with something. I can label the messages, so i just put the ones with complaints for the support team. My computer keyboard is disgusting and sticky right now because i spilled soda on it earlier...ugh. Glad the scheduler didn't blow up on us today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

You cannot update google business profiles in batches -- which is really frustrating when you have to handle a lot of them. There are way too many filters and options (buttons) on the screen. It always takes me a while to locate the correct dropdown option to simply look at my items. Also, you cannot pull tiktok ad reports. Just want to go to sleep but these menu's are killing me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our inbox and scheduling features. We understand your frustration with updating Google Business profiles in batches and the complexity of our interface. We'll take your feedback into account as we continue to enhance our platform.

"Excellent for SMM: Publishing & Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

We love Sprout's planning and reporting functions. Being able to plan content and see at a glance what the cadence and grid looks like is crucial. The ability to tag and categorize content to pull reports on types and campaigns is also important. The reports are simple and quick to get key metrics. Overall, very easy to use and navigate. My team is in Sprout every day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There are a ton of features, and we do not use all of them. The inbox is helpful to see notifications and activity, but it is a lot so we typically interact in the native platform. I wish it was two-way such that if you interacted in the native platform it would get completed and not show in the inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our planning and Reporting functions. We understand the importance of staying organized and being able to categorize content efficiently. We'll take note of your feedback regarding the two-way interaction in the inbox and consider it for future enhancements.

"Easy Scheduling and Great Support, Some Small Fixes Needed"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like how easy it is to use for basic tasks and scheduling posts, I think there's a wide variety of features and I love the sproutlink option and how easy it is to mass schedule and differentiate similar posts. Sometimes there are some odd errors with saying things didn't post, but it ends up posting anyway. Previously I'd had issues linking accounts but recently it's seemed to be better. Support team is also great and responsive to our questions and concerns. I think the AI features and trellis specifically could use some work and wasn't my favorite to usee at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I think sometimes the menu is a bit cluttered when trying to find exactly what I want to do, and there are some weird glitches when I was trying to reschedule a drafted post where I just had to delete it and create an entirely new post. I'm also not a huge fan of trellis and the ai integration and didn't find it super helpful to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're glad to hear that you find Sprout Social easy to use for scheduling posts and that you appreciate the wide variety of features. We apologize for the odd errors you've experienced and the issues with linking accounts, but we're glad to hear that it's been better recently. We'll definitely take your feedback about the menu clutter and glitches into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!

"Clean, Intuitive Workhorse for Reliable Social Scheduling and Reporting"
4/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

The user interface is clean, organized, and straightforward enough that navigating the platform feels quite natural. The visual content calendar is easy to look at, and the overall layout doesn't require a steep learning curve to get used to. While it might not be completely revolutionary, it is highly functional, intuitive, and handles daily community management and scheduling tasks without any unnecessary clutter.

The platform connects well enough with the major social channels we rely on, pulling everything into the unified inbox without much friction. It syncs up smoothly with our core networks, keeping our daily data pipelines steady. While there is always room for deeper connections with niche third-party tools, the foundational integrations are stable and dependable for a standard social media workflow.

From a daily operational standpoint, the platform’s performance is solid and reliable. Page loading times are consistent, scheduled posts go out exactly when they are supposed to, and the system rarely hitches or lags during heavy use. It acts as a dependable workhorse for the team, maintaining the stability needed to handle high-volume publishing and engagement without dropping the ball.

Sprout sits at a premium price point, but the return on investment justifies it well enough by saving the team significant time. The efficiency gained from the automated, presentation-ready reporting and the centralized inbox outweighs the monthly cost. It reduces the manual hours we used to spend on spreadsheets and tab-switching, making the cost-to-value ratio fair for the amount of administrative overhead it cuts out.

The onboarding process is structured well enough to get new users up to speed without too much downtime, thanks to decent training resources and documentation. Whenever technical questions or hiccups pop up, the support team is responsive enough to resolve the issues before they disrupt our active campaigns. It is a reliable safety net that keeps our daily operations moving forward smoothly.

The built-in AI and intelligence features—like automated listening tools and optimal send-time suggestions—provide a helpful baseline for our strategy. While the AI isn't doing the creative heavy lifting, it functions perfectly well as a tool for spotting general audience trends and optimizing our posting schedules. It provides decent, actionable data points that back up our existing instincts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Here are balanced, constructive critiques for each category tailored to the same survey criteria. They highlight standard industry drawbacks and feature limitations without sounding overly aggressive or disgruntled. The overall presentation of the platform is generally fine, but the interface can feel overly rigid and dense, especially when navigating heavy workflows. While the core features are laid out clearly enough, the visual density sometimes makes it less intuitive to find deeper administrative settings. The platform works well for standard tasks, but it lacks the fluid, lightweight modern aesthetic that could make high-volume daily management feel less mechanically repetitive. While the primary social media connections are functional, the integration framework can sometimes feel closed off when trying to bridge data with external tools.

The API access feels strict, and setting up custom pipelines or connecting with more niche third-party software requires jumping through too many technical hoops. The basic plumbing works for major networks, but the limitations appear quickly if you want a deeply customized martech ecosystem. The system is stable under normal conditions, but performance hitches do crop up when handling large amounts of historical data or running heavy, complex reports. Page transitions can occasionally feel sluggish during high-traffic publishing periods, and reporting queries sometimes take longer than expected to render. It handles routine volume well enough, but it occasionally struggles to maintain top-tier speed under heavy analytical loads. The platform sits at a very high premium, and the entry-level tiers place severe limits on standard features to push users into costlier upgrades.

Many features that seem like core requirements are locked away as expensive add-ons, making the overall ROI feel strained. While the platform saves time, the ongoing cost increases and steep licensing fees per seat make it difficult to completely reconcile the high expense against standard competitor value. The onboarding materials are helpful, but the setup process can feel a bit fragmented and self-guided unless you are on a top-tier enterprise plan. Getting a live human on the phone for urgent support or specific technical glitches can be slow, with responses frequently routed through basic ticketing systems that take time to resolve. The self-service documentation is vast, but direct, fast-acting human support is harder to access than it should be.

The integrated intelligence tools provide a good baseline, but the advanced AI capabilities feel somewhat shallow and simple. Features like listening and sentiment analysis are helpful for surface-level reporting, but they lack the predictive depth or deep contextual nuance needed for complex strategy shifts. The AI functions well as a basic assistant for optimization, but it isn't advanced enough to take over heavy analysis or dynamic content ideation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your balanced feedback about Sprout Social. We appreciate your constructive critiques and will take them into consideration as we continue to improve our platform to better serve our users.

"Effortless Scheduling and Performance Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like that Sprout Social lets me schedule my content in advance and quickly see which posts perform best. Every Monday, I set up posts to go live each day throughout the week, so I don’t have to manually publish something every day. I love that i can target my post directly from sprout social, that boost my post performance straight from the start. Spending a few hours on Monday ends up saving me a ton of time during the week. I also love being able to see what’s working best so we can build on it and recapture that momentum. The initial setup was really easy, and taking the Sprout Social crash course at the start made the whole process even smoother integration between Instagram, Facebook and now snapchat as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

One thing I don't like is that I can't tag pages or accounts easily on my posts with Sprout Social. It only works half the time thats really the only performance issue I can complain about Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean and Easy to Use, but Too Limited for Custom Workflows and Large Teams"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

If your workflow and needs are basic, it's a clean platform with an easy-to-use interface. The publishing calendar is very clean. I also like the functionality to be able to push a LinkedIn post from the brand into Advocacy for employees to interact with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

If you need any sort of custom tags, workflows, or structure, Sprout just can't do it. You can make it your own, but it's not truly customizable if you have specific business needs or processes. If you're running a large social team or have different teams managing different accounts, it can get tricky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We appreciate your feedback on the clean and easy-to-use interface of Sprout Social. We understand the limitations for custom workflows and large teams, and we are continuously working to improve our platform to better meet the needs of all users.
