"Effortless Multi-Platform Management with Actionable Social Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social is a great tool and one that I have now used at multiple organizations. Through it, I am able to easily manage multiple social platforms and gather data & statistics that helps me hone my social media strategy. It is something that I use every day in my role as a social media manager, and it makes me more efficient every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

There's not much that I dislike about Sprout Social. If I were to pick something, tagging can become a bit tedious, but that's not on the platform's side of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that Sprout Social has made you more efficient in your role as a social media manager. We appreciate your support!

"Easy Post Scheduling and Helpful Metrics, but Story Scheduling and Reliability Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I love being able to schedule posts easily. I like how simple it is when I schedule posts. I can just click all the accounts I want it to go to, and it’s straightforward every time. There’s no confusion at all about how to post quickly and easily.I love looking at the metrics and seeing how each post performed. That way I can tailor my next posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I wish there was a way to schedule story posts. A lot of times I make my story posts on Canva and then upload them onto Instagram and Facebook. But it would be nice to get those scheduled ahead of time, but to also be able to put links, music, etc. on the stories. I also dislike that every few weeks I get an email that my Instagram post was not posted. And it happens more often than I would think. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our post scheduling and metrics. We understand your frustration with the limitations on story scheduling and the reliability issues. We're constantly working to improve our platform and your feedback is valuable in that process.

"Everything a Social Media Manager Needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout offers everything a Social Media Manager needs to launch campaigns, track post performance, and responding to customers online. It's easy to understand if you're new to the platform as its functions are really intuitive. I also love that there are AI features to help with drafting content and translating messages and your responses for users who may prefer to communicate in a different language. Sharing stats, posts, reports, etc. with colleagues who are not Sprout users is also very easy by setting up email alerts or sharing unique links that are available to everyone (even if they don't have a Sprout seat). Supporting our customers is also made easy by Sprout through the Inbox tool and their bot offerings. We're able to store pre-drafted responses for customer inquiries making it faster for our team to respond to customers with text that has been approved by our communications team. Ensuring content is on-brand is also made easy through Sprout's approval flow process. Any submitted post by a user outside the admin team can be reviewed before it's scheduled reducing mistakes and allowing for collaboration in the team chat feature to help our team improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

The listening function within Sprout isn't as powerful as other tools that specialize in social listening. It's a nice supplement to our existing listening tool, but couldn't replace it. The bot feature is serviceable for now during our team's off-hours and weekends, but would like to see more sophisticated capabilities in the future to make it feel like our customers are speaking to a more human-like bot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

We appreciate your feedback on the Listening function and bot capabilities. We understand the importance of Social Listening and are continuously working to improve this feature. Your input on the bot capabilities is noted, and we'll consider it for future improvements. We're committed to providing a more human-like bot experience for our users. Thank you for your review!

"Supporting Smarter Social Media Management and Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout Social gives us a single platform for managing publishing, reporting, social listening, and community engagement. What I value most is how it helps turn social media data into actionable insights. The reporting tools make it easy to measure performance, identify trends, and share results with stakeholders across the organization.

I also appreciate the platform's listening capabilities, which help us monitor industry conversations, track brand mentions, and uncover content opportunities that inform our broader marketing strategy. The tagging and reporting features provide a clear view of what content is resonating with different audiences, making it easier to optimize our efforts and demonstrate the impact of social media.

As our program has matured, Sprout has scaled with us, supporting everything from day-to-day publishing workflows to more advanced analytics and social listening initiatives. It has become a valuable tool for both execution and strategic decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

While Sprout Social is a strong platform overall, some of the more advanced features come at an additional cost, which can make it challenging to scale access across larger teams. As social programs mature and more stakeholders need access to reporting, listening, or engagement tools, licensing can become a consideration.

There is also a learning curve for some of the more advanced listening and analytics capabilities. While the platform is user-friendly for day-to-day publishing and reporting, maximizing its full potential requires time and training.

That said, these drawbacks are outweighed by the value the platform provides through its reporting, social listening, and workflow management capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

It's great to hear how Sprout Social has benefited your global social media program by providing more efficient workflows, greater visibility into performance, and the ability to make more data-driven decisions. We're committed to helping our customers work more efficiently and effectively, and we're thrilled to hear about the positive impact on your organization.

"Vital for Streamlining Multi-Location Social Media Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I find Sprout Social to be extremely easy and intuitive to set up, without needing much assistance online. It's easy to navigate and provides a lot of filters that are really convenient for filtering information crucial for business analysis and auditing processes. The tool is amazing for overseeing my team and ensuring we provide world-class customer service across multiple platforms. It's extremely convenient to have access to all 300+ accounts across the 7 social media channels we use, which makes replying to reviews and chatting live with customers seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

We have about 8 people in the team replying to reviews or handling patient's inquiries via DM, and it's tedious to try to evaluate one agent at a time since there's no filter for each agent/team member. I have to scroll indefinitely to find another interaction from the same agent. We need a filter for user/agents/team members to have access to their interactions easily. I want to open Sprout Social and enter an agent's name to get their interactions available right away instead of looking one by one each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Sprout Social. We understand your feedback about the interface and will work on making the platform more intuitive for new users.

"Effortless Multi-Platform Scheduling and Account Management with Sprout Social"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

The most helpful aspect of Sprout Social is its ability to publish posts across multiple social media platforms and manage multiple accounts at once. I can customize each scheduled post to meet the specific standards of each platform and tailor the content to fit each account. This makes my workflow far more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I previously scheduled posts using Later.com, and there are two features I preferred on that platform compared to Sprout Social.

First, Later allowed me to upload multiple videos and photos into a media library and keep a small archive that I could easily access. I could click on the content I needed and quickly build and schedule multiple posts from that archive. With Sprout, I have to upload a single piece of content, create the entire post, and schedule it before starting a separate upload for a different post. This has required me to significantly adjust my workflow.

Second, Later would automatically adjust file sizes if I accidentally uploaded a video with quality settings that were too high for a platform. On Sprout, the post simply generates an error and fails to publish. In some cases, I am not notified until after the scheduled publish time has already passed. This has become a major issue, especially when I am away from my computer and unable to quickly fix the file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on your experience with Sprout Social. We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform helpful for managing multiple social media accounts efficiently and customizing posts for each platform.

We appreciate your insights on the features you preferred in another platform and understand the importance of a seamless workflow. We'll certainly take your feedback into consideration for future improvements to enhance your experience with Sprout Social.

Thank you for choosing Sprout Social to streamline your social media management and analytics. We look forward to continuing to support your success in the digital landscape.

"Time-Saving Yet Requires Frequent Reconnects"
3/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I like that I only need to create one post which can be shared to multiple platforms, as it saves a lot of time. I really appreciate the 'best time' scheduling feature because the time suggestions are based on algorithms I don't have to evaluate myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

I've stopped using Sprout Social for Twitter because it frequently required 'reconnecting' to Twitter, which I found frustrating and time-consuming. It happened at least weekly, and sometimes multiple times per week! Also, I don't find the location of some components very intuitive. The initial setup was super time-consuming because there wasn't much 'get started' information and it was frustrating because Sprout Social kept disconnecting all our accounts, meaning I couldn't post without reconnecting first. still use for instagram and fb. "Effortless Multi-Location Social Management in One Dashboard"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

Sprout makes managing social across multiple club locations so much easier. It's efficient, easy to learn even for new team members, and having publishing, analytics, and inbox management all in one dashboard cuts out a lot of back and forth. The customer service is genuinely great too, fast responses and helpful reps whenever we run into issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Nothing major comes to mind. It's met our needs well across multiple club locations, and any small hiccups have been minor and quickly resolved by their support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

"Effective Social Media Management, But Pricey"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

I really appreciate how Sprout Social pulls together all of our organic and paid social media data in one clean place. It's not perfect, but for ease of use and quick reporting, I love it. The bulk scheduling, AI alt-text generation, and scheduling by date and time are all features that make tasks simpler. My absolute favorite features are publishing and reporting, which I use daily. Reporting used to be cumbersome, but Sprout makes it much easier. The reporting features were the main reason we switched from Hootsuite to Sprout Social. Plus, the initial setup was super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

It's simply too expensive for non-enterprise organizations. We employ about 40 people and having just one more user license would make such a huge difference for us. This disappointment is especially exacerbated because there does not seem to be any preferential treatment towards non-profit organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mira Sekhon of Sprout Social

"Scheduling Made Easy with Sprout’s Multi-Account Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Sprout Social?

The ability to schedule posts and also view your Instagram grid is super helpful. I love how many platforms you can connect to your accounts, and how many accounts you can link overall. We have a lot of different clients, so it’s really convenient to have everything in one place without constantly logging in and out of multiple accounts. I also don’t have to worry about whether they’re posting or not—I know Sprout will handle it once it’s scheduled, and if something doesn’t go through, it’ll send me a notification, which is super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sprout Social?

Nothing—it meets all of my needs.

That said, one suggestion would be to incorporate AI and have it pull from sources (like a website or whatever) so each account can have its own tone of voice. We have a lot of bank clients, and we use ChatGPT to help tailor the tone for each one so it doesn’t all sound the same. It would be nice to have that built in and available all in one spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Max Pete of Sprout Social

We're happy to hear that Sprout Social is making your scheduling process easier and more efficient. We appreciate your suggestion for incorporating AI and will definitely consider it for future enhancements.
