Founded in 2025 by John Tang, Sprint Labs places senior software engineers, sales development reps, account executives, customer support and customer success specialists, bookkeepers, accountants, designers and operations staff from talent hubs in the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia and India. Unlike a freelance marketplace or a traditional recruitment agency, Sprint Labs operates a managed contractor model. It sources, screens and engages each professional, then handles contracts, payments, time off, replacements and ongoing support, while the client directs the day-to-day work as if the person were part of their own team. Clients receive one monthly invoice in their preferred currency, with the exchange rate locked at quote time, pay no recruitment or placement fees, and can cancel with 60 days’ notice. Every candidate passes a five-stage vetting process covering a resume screen, role-specific skills assessment, live working session, values and communication interview and reference checks, with roughly 3% of applicants accepted. Clients see a shortlist of three to five named candidates within 5 to 10 business days, each with a recorded voice introduction, and are protected by a 30-day replacement guarantee. Sprint Labs reports 94% 12-month retention across placements. Every placed professional can also complete Sprint Labs’ AI Skills and Workflow Training, a role-specific programme that ends in a practical assessment, at no additional cost.
