Spoken.md helps developers, analysts and researchers turn the podcasts they follow into a text corpus they can search, quote and feed to an LLM. It is a REST API: one call lists every episode of a show that has a transcript, one call per episode returns it as Markdown with real speaker names and timestamps. A whole back catalog of a few hundred episodes takes a script and an afternoon. It is not a speech-to-text service. Spoken serves transcripts of published podcast episodes, so it is priced per episode instead of per minute of audio: $0.15 per episode in the entry pack, $0.08 in the largest, with no subscription and nothing charged for an episode it cannot serve. Credits never expire and re-fetching an episode you already have is free. Built for agents as much as people: OpenAPI spec, MCP server (npx spoken-mcp), Python client (pip install spoken-md), an agent skill for Claude Code and Cursor, and a demo key that returns one full episode with no signup.
