It has a lot to offer. It reduces timet to identify of root causes of problems . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Splunk AppDynamics? appdynamics is not for cloud native world. we had a poc with appdynamics for our kubernetes environment. It was terribly time consuming to implement on kubernetes. Appdynamics is not aware of variations of kubernetes in technical details. There are many missing parts like end to end observability. Ability to create custom dashboards for kubernetes services is pretty poor. All the offerings are perfect in paper but we were not able to see them on real world. We were unable to see a full picture of our environment with end to end point of view, full stack. We were not able to see underlying infrastructure , the VMs of kubernetes. It's a full-time job for one or more people to get trained, perform integration, maintain, and analyze output from AppDynamics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Splunk AppDynamics: Please work with a good knowledgable partner or directly with appdynamics. AppDynamics offers lots of functionality, but doesn't implement any one of the features particularly well. Other APM solutions suffer from similar problems. Consider if you need a more specialized tool or custom solution to solve a specific issue you're having. Make sure that the way AppDynamics expects a centralized team to handle operations matches your organizational structure.
