"Easy and Efficient"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

Splashtop was easy to implement and users adapted quickly. Application deployment and antivirus solution to each workstation was simple. The ability to remote from anywhere with any device, including the web, has made Splashtop a choice solution over other options. And to top it off, to see a user’s phone as you walk them through problems makes all the difference. All of this for a reasonable price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

Although it isn’t a must, I wish I could manage computers and groups from the application instead of having to log into the website Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for K-12 schools!"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

Small footprint takes up very little of the student laptop resources. Students can not uninstall or kill the client. It is great for when you need to remote help or remote push out something at is a one off. I use it 10+ times a day in our environment. We have 3,000 devices. We will also use it to see when the last time a device was active and what the IP was to help us find lost or stolen devices. I live the grouping and favorite features, I have my 'watch list' of students. We use it as a remote audio tool as well... when we need to setup a presentation with a projector away from the sound system we simply slashtop into the laptop next to the projector and use the remote connection for the audio out to the sound system. has worked flawlessly for us on multiple occasions. Sure beats running a mic cable with a DI box. I can not say enough nice things about my customer service rep. The is there to help me every time i have a licensing question, he also understood clearly how K-12 differs from an Enterprise, especially around budgeting. Implementing was a breeze over inTune, i could not have asked for an easier integration! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

1. Really really dislike the update process for the for the app (not the streamer client). In the middle of logging in it pops up and tells you that you need an update, ok, sure, it would be nice if it waited until after you log in, 99% of the time if disrupts the login. When you hit cancel for the update it says do you want to exit the program... what a poor choice of words, makes it sound like you are exiting splashtop, not the updater. It sucks how many times when i am in a hurry that it pops up and i pause to think about that. It would be better to have a banner in the app that says you have an update and you click that instead of being intrusive.

2. Needs a 'silent' connection option for the streamer. There are times when we need to covertly monitor student activity for safety concerns or school rule violations. It is not possible with splashtop, each connection pops up with a 'so and so is not accessing your computer' this tool would be perfect for k-12 schools if it wasn't for that.

3. big wish, it would be nice if you actually had a dos box, instead of sending commands to dos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Access, Constantly Evolving"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

I really appreciate how simple and intuitive the setup process is for Splashtop Remote Access; it quickly becomes second nature. It's been a timesaver for me as it eliminates the need to drive to clients, and offers an excellent platform for client education on network issues. Its speed and efficiency are impressive, even on a slower connection, enabling me to perform tasks swiftly. The product is constantly improving, with engineers proactively developing new functionalities, which is very reassuring. Lastly, having full control through the mouse and keyboard on a client's computer is incredibly beneficial for managing IT situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Packages and Easy Client Access, But Higher Tiers Are Pricey"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

There are differenr packages depending on busi ess needs, I just wanted to be able to provide a link to clients rather than having to actually deploy on target computers as thqt limits the number od co.puters I can use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Splashtop Remote Access?

There are other packages that would be suitable for me but they are a little more pricey than I can justify Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Less expensive than competitors"
What do you like best about Splashtop Remote Access?

This review is for a small business with multiple offices in different locations (states). System is used for remote access to various devices by managers while travelling. Also used by IT staff to check devices are configured correctly. Splashtop works really well for us.

Competitor used previously had blocked ports, Splashtop works much better (if all computers are for a single company). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
