If there’s one area I’d recommend for improvement—and it’s more of a wish than a dislike—it would be having greater access to Spin’s expert team during implementation. The setup was straightforward, and their team was excellent to work with. However, given how stretched our internal resources were, more hands-on support could have sped up our rollout and helped us unlock the full value of Spin from day one. We onboarded SpinOne to monitor OAuth apps and Chrome extensions of our workforce, ask well as backing up our Google Workspace. Our admins find the tool very intuitive to use and the team at Spin is very receptive to customer feedback. They keep adding new features, for example, a custom risk heatmap or refined reporting filter options.

The evaluation and after-sales customer support we received were excellent. We were given a dedicated contact and could discuss any general or technical questions we had during the evaluation and later during the implementation phases.

The Google Workspace integration is intuitive and has a good level of configuration options to customize on and offboarding to our needs. What I like best about SpinOne is its automated daily backups and ransomware protection for Microsoft 365. So far, there's very little to dislike about SpinOne. The configuration and setup are surprisingly easy and fast. What I like most about SpinOne is how easy it is to use and how reliable it’s been for us. We've used it many times to restore data without any issues, which gives us a lot of confidence in the platform. The automatic backups take the pressure off our team, and the simple dashboard makes it easy to manage and recover files when needed. We haven’t had to use the ransomware protection, but just knowing it’s there gives us peace of mind.

SpinOne also helps us manage third-party applications that connect to our environment. We rely on its application risk scores when reviewing access requests from users, and we trust those scores as part of our approval process. As an added bonus, we’re also looking at ways to use SpinOne to support our data loss prevention (DLP) efforts. The biggest limitation for us is the API. Currently, it only supports updating user licensing, which is quite restrictive. We’d really like to see expanded API capabilities—especially for recovering files, accessing backup data, and retrieving SpinScore ratings for third-party apps.
