We use Spin to back up our Google domain for about 1000 students and employees. We were very pleased with the customer service and tech support during the demo period, and during the process for implementation and provisioning. The dashboard shows me what I need to know at a glance. The restore process is quick and easy. Onboarding policies automates about 90% of the work I do to manage accounts for incoming and departing users. I use the API to automate the daily check on provisioned accounts. I want to think about a data backup service like a fire extinguisher - always ready but minimal maintenance effort required until then. It didn’t take very long for Spin to reach that status for us. We have many Google Workspace accounts that don't justify having their own backup license with SpinOne, but it would be nice if we could backup more of these less critical accounts. With a Google Workspace Business Starter account, it's difficult to keep track of Google Drive files within the organisation. Sometimes important files can be deleted by accident, and we have no way to restore such files.
