What do you like best about Spinnaker?

First thing first - its an open source. We liked Its ability to package code , configs entirely in a single RPM. It helped us to propagate the same packaged RPM ( code + configs i.e. baked AMI ) to higher environments which epitomises the whole concept of 'code promotion' in an immutable env./infra. What do you like best about Spinnaker?

Big plus for docker support. Also, deployable units can be JAR files as well.

Supports multiple cloud providers like AWS, Cloud Foundry, Google Cloud natively.

Can be triggered using github hook, manually using cron or from some other

pipeline. Could push update packages to existing instances to minimize wait time.

Has a nice ui that can resize, edit, delete server groups and load balancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spinnaker?

Spinnaker has a good support for JVM based projects. Unfortunately, for projects

that require anything else, it escalates into a big headache. Also, we had some
