## About Spike
Spike is an AI-powered email and team communication platform that combines email, chat, meetings, and collaboration tools into a single, organized workspace. It is designed for professionals, small teams, and businesses that use email as their primary communication channel but want a faster, more streamlined way to manage daily interactions and tasks. By transforming traditional email into a chat-like format, Spike simplifies how users read and reply to messages. The platform removes repetitive headers, quoted text, and long chains, allowing conversations to appear as clean, continuous threads. Users can manage all email accounts, calendars, and contacts in one place while taking advantage of built-in AI to summarize conversations, draft replies, and organize the inbox automatically. Spike supports both individual and team use. Freelancers and professionals use it to manage clients and projects more efficiently, while teams rely on Spike to centralize communication, share files, and collaborate in real time without switching between multiple tools. Core Features: Conversational Email: Presents emails as natural chat-like conversations while remaining fully compatible with standard email protocols. AI Productivity Tools: Provides automatic summaries, suggested replies, translations, and content drafting to speed up workflow. Integrated Meetings: Enables voice and video calls directly from email threads for faster coordination. Collaborative Notes and Docs: Allows users to create, edit, and share documents in real time within the inbox. Unified Inbox and Search: Consolidates multiple email accounts and calendars into a single interface with cross-account search. Shared Inbox: Helps teams manage customer and project communications collaboratively, ensuring faster response times. Compatibility: Works with Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Office 365, Yahoo Mail, and all IMAP-supported accounts across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. Security and Privacy: Spike is ad-free and never sells or monetizes user data. All message data is encrypted using the AES-256 standard. ## Spike Reviews
 ### 1. Spike is so convenient. and you can get help by the suppot stuff of Spike timely on mails.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

By using Spike,I can organize my mail box so easily.
I can take the annoying massages into trash box so easily.
And,mails are easy to see the past massages of each other.
Because its design is like chat.
So I'm free from the stress of searching the past responses and my massages.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I can't find bad points now.
At first,I could receive mails only every 30 minutes.
But by using Spike web(the suppot stuff told me),I can receive them immediately.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The suppot stuff always accessed me only in a few hour( I'm in Japan,so there should be time lag.).
And he could understand my trouble timely, and advised me patiently and kindly.
It was my first experience that I could receive such nice suppots using a free application soft.

 ### 2. Stay organized and productive with Spike for 24/7/12/365

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Perry S. | http://linkedin.com/in/perry-sanders-25377913a, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike centralize teams in my organization in one place where we manage tasks through trackeable chats.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Video conferencing requires boost from external services like Zoom and GTM.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business instant messaging over the internet.

 ### 3. Great Application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay R. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The best in reducing clutter. There is still some room for improvement. There are times, for example, when it groups emails it does not take you to the most recent email. Instead, you have to scroll down to find the most recent email.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Maybe the developer could include an option where the most recent email comes up first so users have the flexibility to choose the option that works best for them. Love the app still.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the best I've seen at accurately separating important emails from those of lower priority and let me view them first.

 ### 4. Email, Workflow, Tasks, Collaboration all in one!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil S. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Absolutely love the interface of Spike. They have taken all aspects of several other apps and put it into one.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There is not one thing that I have found yet

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy collaboration, team/group integrations, problem solving all from one place.

 ### 5. Best email platfrom I used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maya M. | CEO & Creative director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I've been looking for platforms just go away from mozila thunderbird and I found the perfect one! Thank you guys for creating this. It accelerated my morning routine.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I like everything about it. Spike is one of the tools I highly recommend for small businesses. The only thing I would improve is the classic inbox where I can see the emails same as on Google Gmail.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of opening many server tabs for the webmails, I have everything together in a platform that is chat-alike and it looks very nice!

 ### 6. The best one so by far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yama S. | General manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I love the flexibility, the possibility to use it as easily as a instant messaging app but with the powerful tools of the best possible email app if needed. Best app I've found, and I've tried so many of them before.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Not the cheapest one but worthwhile. I don't see anything missing. Everything works well, just make it easier to change the signature, like the possibility to add pics

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes my life easier, gain of productivity, but in my case, being a teacher there is no gain financially. No more waste of time and therefore performance increased

 ### 7. Easy Email Management and access-app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

it helps to sort the email, set up the action on each email, manage the email, and track and remind of to-do things in daily work. It removes the unnecessary part of emails and saves time. It removes the junk in your inbox and organize the emails.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

It lacks device syncing it takes a lot of time to sync and orgainze your emails. it has an issue with the meeting syncing with google meet. Also, it is an expensive app just double the price for business users.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to save my time focusing on the emails that need my attention. It helps to track the important email and set the proper reminder on the action items. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, and also works smoother both in desktop and mobile applications.

 ### 8. Easy to set up and stellar customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelly T. | Entrepreneur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike is fantastic. The support has been personal, helpful, and fast. The conversational display has made threads easy to read, and plan to use it with future business ventures. As an entrepreneur, I'm often trying out new business ideas, and Spike has made it easier for me to do this. I can't recommend the team highly enough.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Truthfully, there isn't anything I've found that has been difficult about Spike. It might be nice to be able to use a Gmail email address with it, as when I am testing out new business ideas I don't always have the domain set up, but that wouldn't stop me using Spike as a tool in my business.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

Spike is great. But what makes them exceptional is the level of customer care. So if you decide to use it, know that the team is always there to help out.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike helped me to receive emails from my shopify site, while I have been setting up a potential business. Its helped me remain organized and on task, as I've been able to do everything I've wanted in my we browser.

 ### 9. All around great app and a great dev team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug V. | Owner

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like the conversation style emails. Easy to navigate and use. I've been using spike for about 4 years now and haven't used any other email app for personal or business use. All around great app!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

You should be able to copy and paste text from any email you like. Also be able to save images from an html email. Some emails formatting is weird I have to zoom in and scroll but a formatted zoom for every style of email would be great.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stream lining business and personal emails.

 ### 10. Spike changed my whole work routine making me super productive and accessible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eitan H. | Investment Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

What I like best is the user-friendly front end side of the app and the useful shortcuts on the desktop version.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Calender isn't well presented, I use my gmail calender instead

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of the outdated email that creates a non-continuous communication where it is essential.

 ### 11. Spike simplified my emails and made finding, keeping up with and organising them SO MUCH EASIER!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate d. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The conversational layout is my favourite - this simplifies your inbox, makes it easier (and more aesthetic) keeping up with email threads. I also love the note taking feature and the automatic prioritisation of emails into "priority" and "other" - it is very accurate as well. You can also SEE WHEN SOMEONE HAS SEEN YOUR EMAIL - this is a game changer.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Not being able to select a package with multiple different emails from different domains and manage them all from one portal Sometimes it is hard to find a conversation because the email was sent to a group - so you are looking within your conversation with one person for something but it is actually in the "group" chat. It has been hard to show fellow employees the value of joining.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

Review the multiple email setup situation.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy-to-reply, nice to use on any device (phones included) and makes responding to emails more structures. All my emails are pulled into one big inbox and automatically prioritised, this ensures i get to the most important emails first.

 ### 12. Good and fluid experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex S. | Freelance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Ease of use and intuitive approach are the best aspects. Once you get used to the unique workflow it becomes second nature.
I haven't seen a similar product out there

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The only thing that bothers me in my workflow is inability to copy specific text in a mobile version (unless I open the quotes text in the email. Search is also not always accurate

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being fast to receive and reply to communications

 ### 13. Email threads, reminders and notes all in one place.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa H. | Knitter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike keeps all the emails from the same person or group together, so I don't have to go searching. I can pin important emails to the top of my inbox, and I can delete all the Wowcher emails in a couple of clicks.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

Easy to start, so why not give it a go.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so useful being able to diarise an email so it pops back up in my inbox on the date and time I need it to.

 ### 14. I've already recommended Spike to some of my friends, and they're so happy with it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon M. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I think that one of the best things it has is the look. It looks like a chat platform, what makes it less boring than a normal e-mail platform. I also like that it has a combined inbox, where you can see all your mails only separated by colors.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I don't dislike nothing in special. So I can't write here a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

Spike has a modern, fluent, and pleasant UI and all its features will make you feel very comfortable.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

E-mail was boring before I found Spike. I always found e-mail an old communication method, no interactions, no group, slow, ... But everything has changed with Spike. Now i find it pleasing to use.

 ### 15. Power of Email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

One of the best email applications I have ever come across. I have used it quite a few times now and love using it. It converts your email into a real-time chat that's easy to read.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Sometimes it gets slow or gets stuck, which might be due to a low internet connection; otherwise, I can not see any dislike for this app. It's just perfect to use.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It prioritizes removing distractions so we can see important messages first. We can also create a note, share our thoughts, store files and manage others' tasks in real-time. It's a real problem solver.

 ### 16. Best simple email extension

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darpan C. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike's method of sorting emails is brilliant. It transformed my inbox into a chat-like environment, where emails are organized by persons rather than threads or subjects, making it feel like I'm using an IM rather than an old email client.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Among the more complex functions require some improvement. I'd like to see tagging in notes (to make cooperation easier) or the ability to immediately add a call link to an invite (like in Google Calendar).

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Spike has rendered Gmail obsolete. I get the most of the functions in one app without having to navigate to other G-suite applications. And it sorts all my emails and makes them into a thread by the sender.

 ### 17. Easy to operate (Excellent User-Interfacer)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ibukunoluwa K. | uemplouyed, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The organization by people feature. It makes viewing and responding to emails super easy. It makes it feel like a texting app, like WhatsApp, which I find comortable to use.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

You can choose to classify your emails by high priority or low priority. However, some messages that I consider high priority end up in the low priority section. It is a very minor issue, and I can easily send such emails to the high priority section manually or deactivate the classification of emails by priority.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to spend ages trying to trace a particular email in a thread. I can quickly look at the conversation and find the specific email I am searching for. I can efficiently respond to emails.

 ### 18. Best collaboration software in the market

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitesh G. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

What I liked the most about Spike is that we can access the system remotely while someone is presenting to us, which I guess no conferencing or cloud meeting software is providing nowadays.
Also, we can share the recording of the meeting itself in the chat, which is the most helpful feature. Else we need to save it somewhere in cloud servers.
It provides everything such as Excel, Word everything.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

This is not very user-friendly. And I am saying this because when we integrated this into our Organization, it took a lot of time for our students to adopt this ultimately. Many faced problems in many steps. Although, we sorted all that with the help of the remote access feature of Spike.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We integrated Spike into our Organization during the Covid-19 pandemic due to shut down of schools. We started to take all classes offline as we were taking them offline. This helps our organization very much as we can create the different teams and name them as classes. Also, we can share the class recording in the chat itself, which is also very helpful for the students who were not able to attend online due to some health or personal issues.

 ### 19. Spike's integrated inbox is my comprehensive daily 'radar'!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John O. | Music teacher / lecturer / tutor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Integrated emails (multiple accounts), calendar events, and team collaborations.
The supersearch tool is excellent - covers all email including atachments, all events, all team collaboration.
Integration with cloud - in my case, Google Grive.
Integrated chat and calls (video and audio).

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

A much more detailed 'user guide' is needed.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

The online personal workspace is fragmented and has been overdue for a redesign for some time. Spike integrates the important aspects of time, data and workspace management under a single 'personal radar' in the form of an 'inbox'.

Keep it up, Spike - this is a winner!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike eliminates app hopping and email account 'hopping'. Productivity is enhanced and the risk of 'falling through the cracks' is all but eliminated.

 ### 20. Search & Find Email Content - Instantly!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J Kent H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I need to find received or sent emails and content, including attachments, immediately. I have purchased and used eMclient, Mailbird, Spark, Newton, Outlook, and Wundermail. Some, like eMclient, are complicated to use, and I found that their shortcomings kept me searching for better solutions.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I can use Spike on any platform, including windows, ios, android, and on any browser. Sometimes logging into a browser works better than the downloaded app.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Crucial is my ability to find an email attachment or conversation while conversing with a customer. On other platforms, you have to follow 'rules' to complete a search successfully; on Spike, there are no rules, simply results!

 ### 21. It’s better than outlook

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob J. | BOM Quote Science & Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. 邦阔科技（深圳）有限公司, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Conversation threads view is more productive

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The only thing I've found that I missed was an easy way to print a conversation thread.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's really helped to highlight the important conversations I need to respond to in my inbox.

 ### 22. Unique Mail App, one of the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Spike?**

How I can easily sort mails, very easy to find docs, mails, people.
I am not disrupted by headers and footers, spike shows me just I need to see in a mail.
Like whatsapp, just for mails and more powerful

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Still missing some features, but this is a growing company, so actually there is nothing to dislike :)

1. Create a link for a mail
2. I have to login in Ipad, in Iphone, on the mac separately:(

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can see like in "Whatsapp" every mail from a person in a row...

 ### 23. collaborative email platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohsin H. | Information Security Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

helps teams of all sizes connect, create and collaborate in order to accomplish more.
Talk to people. Not threadsSpike's intelligent Priority Inbox removes distractions so you can stay focused. See important messages first, while low priority messages are moved to the side for later.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Work email accounts with @customname.com are not free. Charged per email account. The only negative at the moment is it is web based. Looking forward to having an App for my Mac in the future.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

The way Spike sorts emails is genius. It turned my inbox into a chat-like experience, where emails are grouped by people and not threads/topics - so it actually feels like I'm using a IM and not an outdated email client.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love how simple yet functional it is. It's very intuitive and has a lot of powerful tools for keeping your life and projects organized.I find the message-centred (i.e. like a chat thread) approach enlightening and very efficient.

 ### 24. Wouldn’t replace it by any other service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy G. | Partner, Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Fast, friendly and super easy and gratifying to use. Love it.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I wish calendar would work as smoothly as the rest of the functions

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me be more responsive by focusing and prioritizing the people and issues that need attention

 ### 25. very good Email application even I am using this application on my mobile and desktop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANIK D. | Cyber Security Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

very good Email application even though I am using this application on my mobile and desktop.
without manual configuration, it automatically connects with any server

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

everything is good except the user interface

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

nowadays it's working remotely so this is best the software for Email communication

 ### 26. Quick thoughts over spike

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Best feature is the message threading. It make it very easy to keep track of conversations

The fact that there is no HTML signature capability. And the task feature is not the best.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All email tracking

 ### 27. ALMOST PERFECT

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Serge V. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

A single conversational thread for the entire communication with a particular person where I can also easily find any attachments. It is like the Telegram app.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Lack of settings sync between devices. It is time-consuming to configure multiple devices with the same settings, especially when it comes to custom IMAP.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

I can't go back to the 'classic' email clients. Spike is like a smart text app for emails.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multi-biz inboxes. One contact = One conversation = One placement for all attachment. Groups and shared notes on top.

**Reviewed by:** Travis B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I love that it just works! I've tried many different platforms to manage multiple emails, but this one feels the most intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

One of the things I'm noticing is that, having been a Gmail user for so long, I'm used being able to view and visually identify a lot of emails at once with a compact view. And while Spike lets you change those kinds of settings, it cannot give you the kind of zoomed-out view that Gmail can.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to manage multiple email accounts (and multiple email aliases) in one easy dashboard.

 ### 31. Very easy-to-use and useful app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The thing I like the most is being able to see all emails you've sent with a contact in the same place, like a WhatsApp conversation. Its interface is very simple and I like how easy it is to use.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I don't really like that when you sent a message with Spike, it also adds the line "sent with Spike". I understand that the product is free, but I would prefer not having to send this line as well.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike helps me organizing my conversations through emails, and that's the main benefit I've realized.

 ### 32. It takes getting used to, but a solid easy to use platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam S. | Full Stack Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I jumped on this after having enough of the slow and unreliable Microsoft Outlook. The UI is much fresher, and I am a big fan of the modern take on the mail client. I brought the 5x deal for my current business email accounts. I hope to check out the team functionality soon. I do like the quick notes and the Google calendar integration works very well on my phone.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There are, however, a couple of downsides. I am very technically minded, so I am reasonably handy for figuring ways around potential issues, but adding an HTML signature is not currently supported. Never the less you can 'try' and copy and paste a signature from a signature generator (like HubSpot's). You are then limited to their templates which is a bit sucky, especially when paying for a premium service. I did find a handy hack to get mine a bit more custom, which has satisfied my itch for now.

The only other thing is more a UI issue than a software fault. But I don't like the way read emails are still as bright and vibrant as the unread emails and it can be a bit distracting. Also some of the buttons are not the most intuitive.

All in all, I do feel its a great product, there is room for improvement and I look forward to see how it develops over the next year.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

While the unique UI might not be to everyone's taste, I do like what they are trying to do. If you are looking for a fast, lightweight email client. I would certainly give this a go. You might just need a technical hand with sorting the signatures.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It feels much lighter than some of the leading brands and definitely worth a shot. Its UI is unique and offers a fresh take on the conventional email client. I had issues with Outlook stalling whilst trying to sync between various large email accounts. I have only been using Spike for a short while, and it does take some getting used to, but I am really enjoying it so far.

 ### 33. Spike

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokesh K. | Manager - FP&A , Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Its presentation and screen view are fabulous. It is app of new era . It interets me to do resonds to mail bcoz it gives me feel that i am chatting.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Nothing to dislike as of now but something it takes too much time to start (especially begging of the day)

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

200 Mails of the day turned into 25 chats with spike. It helps to save time bcoz responding to 200 mails is challenging in comparison to 25 chats. It enhances productivity and don't frustrate me by showing 200 mails☺️

 ### 34. Game Changing Email App!

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I love the interface and the quick response from the team for help getting setup! My support contact, Harrison, really delivered a thorough walkthrough of the product!!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

It is not really a dislike, but it does take some getting used to because they have redesigned email...in a good way!

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

Spike solves the issue of multiple mailboxes being managed across multiple team members and makes it conversational and collaborative!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is cost-effective for the number of mailboxes that my team has to support, and having a unified space for collaboration has been a game changer!

 ### 36. Saviour in the domain of Email communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parveen C. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

First I just want to mention that I never came across such email Client. It's very goos software easy to use. The way it sorts email is superb. It gives chat like experience in inbox- that's just wow! Sort email by people, that's so good. You can customise it further as well.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

It's good software to use but still there are some fields where we can improve on. Like adding video meeting links directly like Google calendar, would love to see tagging in notes.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using it because I wanted to use something new that stands in front of what we are using till now. Want to explore this new software for emailing. I use it for email communication and sending meeting links and all.

 ### 37. Best Email application

For business users the pricing is almost double that could be cut overall worth it

 ### 38. Finally, someone FIXED EMAIL!!!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Still a few kinks to work out but awesome personal support, well done!

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

If you find email is a pain, Spike is the product for you. Also it is super easy to install, almost installs itself!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I hated email prrior to spike, this has made it into the tool it is capable of being. Awesome potential with all of their other features, such as instant live chat and video and much more.

 ### 39. Loving Spike - on iPhone, iPad and Surface Pro

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob B. | Voice Over Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Having a Priority Inbox and an Others inbox has allowed me to split what’s important from what can wait

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I don’t dislike anything about it, it’s a great email client on all the platforms I use

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

It’s a fantastic email client for iOS, iPadOS and Windows 10 - I think it works on Mac too but I don’t have one of those.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s allowing me to manage my emails better, saving me time and frustration. It’s also allowing me to use the same email client on all the platforms I own, from mobile to desktop.

 ### 41. Game Changer for Better Focus and Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian B. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike has nailed it with a simple intuitive interface that works seamlessly across multiple platforms and devices.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

As I get used to all the features of Spike I still need to access Outlook and I often find there is a lag/delay in synchronising between Spike and Outlook. Perhaps I haven't found it yet but the lack of integration with Zoom and other third-party apps does make setting up a meeting in Spike more cumbersome and I tend to still revert to Outlook for calendar tasks and monitoring.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The last 16 months of having to work out of the box across numerous projects resulted in my emails going totally out of control. Besides missing out on the numerous online events which have been offered in abundance during the pandemic, I was unaware of the important client-related emails I was just not getting to. My professional image was taking a pounding and I needed a solution. Spike has been that solution. In the short time, I have been using Spike I feel I am getting back in control and crucially I am able to focus and respond to the messages that matter.

 ### 42. My experience with spike is very good if I had to say 1-10 I would say 9

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brena T. | I dont have a job title.

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike helps me communicate with my friends and work on school projects. The upside of Spike is that it is very helpful when I need someone to talk to. Thank you!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The downside of spike is that it glitches a lot. The only problm I have with spike is that it glitches and beacuse of the glitching sometimes I dont hear my friends say anything.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is very helpful in communicating with friends and family. I love using spike for communication and that is all I can think of! Thank you so much... to the people that made spike!

 ### 43. Great Chat/Email App

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary A. | Lecturer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike is great for having teams messaging threads in a chat app style but with an email foundation.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Pasting texts from other apps is confusing, and it doesn't work very well. As long as I am aware, they are no labeling options for messages.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spike for communicating with my teams in a message broadcast style. I post announcements, and people can reply from Spike or email. It is great to have the benefits of messaging service and email in the same place.

 ### 44. Modern email's New ERA is extremely addicting.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arifuzzaman T. | Web & Wordpress Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Spike?**

+ This is a fantastic email program! It has completely transformed our traditional email experience!
+ It's super-fast, cool, and fun.
+ A package of features.
+ Their Clean UI and quicker user experience were particularly appealing to me.
+ I use both their desktop and mobile programs, which are both fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

- Email Signature in HTML is not there.
- On Android, it requires a google account to log in in order to connect. Embedded login might be better userfriendly Maybe

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

+ Can use my email as chat.
+ Can see read/unread/delivery stats.
+ Can handle my multiple accounts easily

 ### 45. Like this app, although, there are some drawbacks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia S. | Assistant of Computer Engineering Department, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

* It is convenient when emailing with a specific recipient looks like a single thread. My students sent me thousands of emails, and it is very useful to see all the messages in one place without the risk to lose something.
* Spike gives free premium for students and educators. They recognize you as a student or a teacher by your university email. (However, mine was not recognized, so I contacted the Spike team. They answered in a couple of days, but for today, I haven't got my free premium yet — and so I can't say what I will like in this plan).
* The notes in the email client. And they are very fast and easy to create and edit.
* You can pin a thread.
* Unified view. All emails from all accounts are in one place! Now I don't need to check each and every one to identify the current state of affairs.
* Even the free plan has many useful features. This makes Spike a good addition to the usual web interface of your email account.
* doc and pdf preview
* infile search
* modern UI
* quite lighweight

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

* There is no solution for Linux. I use two operating systems, Windows and Debian, and sadly, I can use Spike only with Windows.
* Sometimes some emails do not show in Spike, although I see them in Gmail inbox. Maybe this is due to the limited amount of memory for the free account... Hope this will be fixed when my account is registered as an education account.
* Uncomfortable label management. I often put labels on threads, and then put off them. And in Spike this process is not so easy and obvious, as in Gmail. I would like to add a label in two clicks.
* There is doc and pdf preview, but other text file formats are not previewed. For example, .C, and other files with program code.

So, now I still need to combine using Spike and Gmail in a browser.

* The benefits of the education account are described not entirely clear. In addition to my work email, I actively use multiple Gmail accounts for my work — to differ the emails of different types. But it's left unclear to me if I'll get all the premium features only for my work email or for every account.
* At "My Account" tab I need to log in to see any info. Although I already logged in when added my accounts to Spike. And also there is no mark of the current status of my account, only buttons to subscribe.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gathering all emails in one place and managing lots of emails from lots of respondents.

 ### 46. The best work solution I have ever found in a long time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like how Spike has so many features that you don't have to go back and forth between applications, I love how i can email, write notes, check my calendar, message my friends and team members all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I wish it can handle bigger file sending, that would give them more lead compared to other platforms or atleast have the program automatically zip a unzip folder to help with file size.

**Recommendations to others considering Spike:**

if you are looking for an all in one solution, you got it here! :)

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is solving me from wasting timing going back and forth to different apps and also helping me not lose anything since everything is all in one application. No more trying to remember which app i had what in. The benefits are knowing all my content is in one place.

 ### 47. Spike Makes e-Mailing Fun and Efficient Again

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SEGUN SEGA A. | President/Founder.

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The addictive connection and engagement made easy in an immersive environment that makes email fun again.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I believe the UI/UX (User interface) can be improved upon to match the utility and promise.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I left emails as a channel long ago and embraced slack and other social media platforms that guaranteed engagement and with Spike, I've found the missing link.

 ### 48. Chat style email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon P. | Hobbiest, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Keep all comms from an INDIVIDUAL in a thread. Forget about subj. lines. Lose repetitive sigs as well.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

html edit instead of rich text mode for super granular capability to style emails. And templates. Does this thing have a templates function?

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was just looking to connect to an IMAP server. I found so much more. Like a new way of thinking being and communicating.

 ### 49. Spike Stands Out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leighton L. | Attorney, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Search function; Priority focus; and Flexible grouping

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There is a learning curve. The curve, however, is not steep.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Searching emails from particular persons and being able to refine the search to their comments or statements.

 ### 50. Good start! Would like to see more integrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph S. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Its much easier to read my email thread conversations compared to gmail

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I wish integrations were better. I'd love to have imessage on my PC for example.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster to check emails, easier to track conversations
