## Spike Reviews
  ### 1. Spike is a game changer!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kip P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Searching for an email client that puts the focus back on what truly matters and leaves spam behind? Say hello to Spike.

I've been exploring this app for several weeks and felt compelled to share my excitement about this transformative tool. Spike has revolutionized how I manage my multiple email accounts, making it incredibly straightforward to keep track of essential threads, updates, and communications.

Spike seamlessly amalgamates various email accounts into a single, intuitive interface that mimics a standard messaging app. You can categorize messages by sender or subject, fasten crucial threads to the apex of your inbox, and prioritize messages as per your needs.

Collaboration with Spike is effortless, thanks to features such as group creation, shared notes, and task lists. The app also boasts cutting-edge functionalities like scheduling and retracting messages. Moreover, Spike synchronizes all your calendars, presenting a unified hub for all your events, simplifying the task of organizing your schedule.

Experience Spike for yourself and say goodbye to the outdated process of juggling multiple mailboxes.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

One missing piece of functionality is forwarding an entire email thread. But I'm certain the Spike team is working to implement this feature.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing multiple email accounts.

  ### 2. Spike: an email app you must have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket D. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike is by far the best email app I have ever had, it makes your emails so simpler by making it look like a WhatsApp chat interface or any other chat app. It has made receiving and sending emails more like chatting with someone. I can receive and send emails without the traditional email apps with boring interface.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There aren't any major things I dislike about Spike but once I signed up for it I started getting a lot of spam mails in my inbox, which bothers me.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

spike solves the problem of sending and receiving emails and makes it more like chatting. And now I can never forget to attach files while sending emails to clients like I used to do before. Now it is more like talking to clients on a chat app rather than old fashioned emails. It also solves the problem of scattered emails all around my gmail app in primary, in spam, and in promotions rather organizing it in a more simplistic way.

  ### 3. Spike the Innovative Mailing Client Alternative

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar S. | Mr, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Have you ever gotten lost in a conversation on social media? The dialogue just flows as you enjoy the interaction. Why should responding to your emails be any different? Spike turns your boring email interface (sometimes digitally the equivalent of staring at a blank page) into an interactive, engaging, easy-to-follow conversation, just like your favorite social media apps! Its features include searchable content—literally anything, even images and keywords in documents. It also has in-app calling and team collaboration features. The best part is that in addition to the app's desktop version, you can integrate all your current emails into the app to experience all these benefits!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Sometimes the app may be unresponsive, which can be a challenge when you have to respond immediately to emails. Additionally, there is a limited amount of storage in the free plan, which can be used up quickly.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike has significant help my email writer's block because of the easy-to-follow layout; like most IM apps, I can pick up right where I left off. It has turned the taskmanaging my email into a joy again.

  ### 4. Spike: The Communication Platform That Changed the Way I Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan Claude M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I used to be a productivity mess. I was constantly switching between different apps to send emails, chat with my team, and collaborate on projects. It was exhausting and inefficient.

Casually, while speaking with a friend he recommended I try Spike... Being able to unify communication to one platform has been a game-changer for me especially as I'm not locked into a specific email provider.

Here are some of the features of Spike that I've found most useful:

Unified inbox
Real-time chat
Built-in video conferencing

Overall, I've been very impressed with Spike. It's a powerful and versatile communication platform that has helped me to be more productive and efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new way to communicate.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Cons:

Some features are still in beta
Not as widely used as other communication platforms

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that Spike helped me deal with is inefficient communication: I often had to switch between different apps to send emails, chat with my team, and collaborate on projects.

Using Spike helps me quickly and efficiently communicate with my team without having to stop what I'm doing and shift focus. I can smoothly shift between work and communication.

  ### 5. UI is 🔥😍

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The concept is crazy, love it. It has changed how I email on the daily.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There is no downside except for some bugs here and there but were resolved promptly.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes email easier, because of how they're grouped and the UI is insane.

  ### 6. Redefined Emailing Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdeali V. | Technical Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Truly one of the best app concept I have seen in a long time. It turns email into chat like experience. Makes managing conversation so much easier, managing the inbox also becomes really really easy. I really love the app.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Though I love the concept and mobile app is awesome, I would like to see couple of things improve. The user experience of Desktop app is not as good as the mobile app, I have faces few glitches and issues in it, like the reserpine seen feature is hit or miss at times.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is a great client for managing company emails, it has better app compared to other clients like thunderbird ior Outlook. And it is available on desktop and mobile so perfect for my usecase

  ### 7. Finally an email platform that is a simple, intuitive hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dr. Jennie C. | Urgent Care Veterinarian, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

As an attorney and veterinarian with ADHD, I have found my Zen zone through Spike's platform. Spike is the single digital container for my Microsoft and Google emails accounts, calendars, tasks, AND notes. I need that one digital container. And I need it to be intuitive to use, because I am too impatient for a steep learning curve. I also need my hub to be visually pleasing but not overwhelming to my eyes because I cannot handle information overload.
Spike's Unified View streamlines the easy to remember categories of starred emails, notes, tasks, and "snoozed" emails (which I love as much as the all of my email accounts and combines them into a Priority Inbox, which I check first). Then I check the Other Inbox for newsletters, shopping, etc. Spike is smarter than I, and I don't mind, because it has quickly learned how to asses what I prioritize. It also has Smart Searches, that makes it easy to keyword search with filters like attached files, priority status, etc, which helps me find the piece of information I'm looking for. I also can "pin" emails to the top that I cannot forget to act on.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Honestly, the only thing I dislike about Spike would be the days when I don't take full advantage of its capabilities- and I can't blame that on Spike.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike solves the problem of communication fragmentation I have as someone with multiple careers, calendars, domains, and tasks. It's my onestop hub.

  ### 8. Brilliant email app that gives you a conversation view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johan V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like that you can sort your mail by person and see all the mail interactions with that person in a conversational view (similar to Whatsapp). I have not seen another email app do this. At first, it was unusual, but now I am so used to it that other mail apps have become all but obsolete.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Spike does not integrate with other apps well, except your calendar app. For instance, it would be nice if a PDF attachment could be opened with Apple's Preview app or Acrobat

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most email applications show the emails in a list format. This method causes me sometimes to miss important emails between all the other emails. I like seeing my emails sorted by the person or subject (Spike can do both interactively). This helps me to deal with real personal emails first. Spike also creates a "Priority" view and an "Other" view, which helps a lot to move all the newsletters and non-priority emails to another list as those emails that deserve attention.

  ### 9. wonderful for my work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda S. | CMO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I am one of the people who receive many emails a day where I have to give a quick response and also where the other employees write to me a lot for company management, with Spike I was able to have what I use the most in a single application, a chat and the united email without having to open two applications, it has been very useful to make my work easier

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Fortunately, nothing in the system has ever failed me, since its inception they have provided a good service

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A perfect benefit has been being able to have two applications that I use the most in one to be able to respond quickly to messages and the chat is more work

  ### 10. Send Emails and messages quickly with its amazing Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krishi P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

It helps to create the group, collaborate with the team, and start chatting with them through its instant message feature. It helps to sort the valuable emails easily. Its email batch feature is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The customization features are not available.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to sort the important mails from lots of uncluttered mail. Its collaboration feature is amazing; it helps to make connections fast and communicate with members easily. It is a powerful email marketing tool.

  ### 11. All in one email service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul H. | Survey CAD Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The best thing about Spike for me is the ability to delete all emails from one individual or recipient at one time. I also like having multiple accounts in one box at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Nothing yet. I pretty much like everything so far.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't use this for business yet.

  ### 12. Solves a specific problem better than others

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard C. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

As as software development contractor, I have email accounts all over the place. I have them for managing multiple domains I own. I have them provided by almost every client. And I have many personal email accounts that I have accumulated over the years (hotmail, gmail, and office365).

I can't practically stay on top of 10+ active accounts. Spike puts everything together for me in one prioritized and easy-to-manage inbox.

I really couldn't get by without it.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

While Spike has some todo/task functionality, I'd like to see better integration with other task systems like MS ToDo or Jira.

I also don't see any public API. As a developer, I sure would love to have programmatic access to my data.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aggregated inbox and prioritization.

  ### 13. Feature packed application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nilay L. | Freelancer Fulltime, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

stability of the product and constant imporvements hapenning around the user experience. The Simplicity of accesssing all the information is what keeps this app on top of my list.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

There is no major issues with the app but managing multipe accounts is sometime quite confusion due to complex User experience. also navigating from notification is not working as expected. sometime it just redirects to that message thread but not the actual message.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is light weight and easy to use compare to other email client and setting up multiple email account and managing is quite easy compare to other also list of features are quite impressive.

  ### 14. Surpassed expectations.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randall T. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The idea of "everything in one unified window" is irresistible.

5 email accounts, slack, sms, task managers, and notes aggregated in one UI.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

It took me >5 minutes to get the basics. Only because of the good reviews and referrals from others did I persist.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been actively looking for an email client with a unified inbox and better separation of critical v non-critical mail. Far less time scanning multiple inboxes.

  ### 15. The best way to organize your mail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian B. | Desarrollador web, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

If you're a tidy person like me and don't like having your email disorganized, Spike now is the best way to go. It has an easy-to-use design and its chat is wonderful. It can be used by novices and experienced people as it is a simple application to use. I loved this app.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The prices are only in dollars and do not adapt to the country where you are. I don't really like its support and its design. Live chat speed a bit slow. They should improve some aspects to be a perfect application. I don't have much to criticize since I love this application.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was able to organize my email inbox simply and easily. I have a lot of emails so Spike helped me a lot.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email in chat form and better search functions.

  ### 20. Spike e-mail solves one big problem

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joris T. | Owner, Audio Branding Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

As a creative entrepreneur, I rely heavily on clarity in my communications. The way Spike displays email treads as a conversation is a game changer for me.
It sound simple, but it solves a big problem: We all know long e-mail treads can get messy really fast. I used to 'open up' treads to look for files, attachments, etc. but oftentimes, attachments don't show up inside a folded tread, so it takes a lot of time just looking for what I need.

A conversational display of e-mails solves this problem. I can quickly scan our conversation without having to ignore useless information like signatures etc., and access things that are of actual relevance.
It's a simple and elegant solution; more so because my emails are getting sent with all the extras like signatures. This way, on the other end of the conversation, my e-mails look professional and not informal.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I would like to see a little bit more customisability, like displaying avatars yes, or no, but these things are merely nic-to-haves.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clarity, organisation and speed in workflow

  ### 21. Tried to cancel - they wouldn't allow it

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnny W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

- Clean looking email interface
- Threads are easy to follow

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

- Charged me for another year after I cancelled
- logging in was a hassle if I got logged out

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I liked the email interface better than the email client provided by the employer.

  ### 22. Very nifty and nicely designed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beryl P. | CEO & Founder of TRIPorganiser Ltd, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The design and the read receipts and the features that distinguish it from other email clients. It's fast to load and easy and intuitive to use...

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

So far there are only tiny things that could be improved - but I have a feeling the development team is on it already.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the read receipt feature and the chat like function and that it autosorts important messages and "other" messages. And it recognises contacts easily.

  ### 23. Easy, Simple, Intuitive and Addictive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jagadeesh V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike simplifies the essence of email as a process and makes it so much easier to track, respond and create workgroups that make life much easier and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I would love to better Calendar & signature integrations. The ability to create out of office and also calendar invites seamlessly within spike will be a welcome addition.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrate multiple emails (Personal and Official). The best ability of spike is to make emails look sexy again, no more boring interfaces and its addictive. This is how email should have been.

  ### 24. The best mail app

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paweł S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like that you can sort your mail by person, like in iMessage, What's up etc.
The intelligent box also works great, thanks to which I can focus on essential matters.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

In the app's current version, there is no way to add an image to text, not as an email attachment.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It organizes e-mail perfectly, thanks to which I can focus on really important matters.

  ### 25. Spike helps you speed through emails very quickly.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit C. | Co-Founder & Editor in Chief, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like the colorful user interface. Plus I also like how there are additional productivity functions beyond emails. Premium accounts are inexpensive.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I believe that the premium features are very handy. I believe Spike should promote those benefits more for its free users.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike helps me get through emails faster.

  ### 26. EMail that works for You.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edward K. | Business Intelligence Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I have been using Spike for a little more than a month. I wanted to improve my productivity workflow and streamline how I handle level 1 and 2 communications (urgent and important). As a productivity expert, I found it was taking me more and more time to respond to my most important messages, emails, and media posts. I also had to go to multiple locations to ensure I responded to every message.

I like best that all of my messages are in one place, and Spike sorts them into priority order. If I am pressed for time, I can deal with only the top-priority messages and leave the rest for later. When I deal with level 2 communications (communications not addressed to me exclusively), I have an option too; Block, Unsubscribe, or schedule in the future. I deal with 90% of my essential (level 1) communications one-time; the second level is either blocked, unsubscribed or scheduled when I have time to deal with non-urgent communications.

I am now processing all my communication in half the time it took just one month ago. Win, Win!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I currently use multiple calendars, one for business and another for personal activity. I have noticed that my calendar entries are not always in the Spike Calendar. I think the is a bug when I have overlapping personal and business appointments

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike has streamlined my workflow and reduced the time I had been spending in Gmail and Outlook. It identifies my most essential communications and shows me the entire thread so I can quickly and accurately respond to the communications. I also like the manner in which Spike presents messages; it is a casual and comfortable format without all the email junk that comes with every message, so I can quickly respond to the message itself.

  ### 27. Spike is the best email app I am using for 1 years

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Beside Gmail spike finds me more useful and easy to manage. Their UI is super easy to use and very professional besidesthat this is my favourite choice of managing my emails.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

No anything this is the best app but they have to focus on their marketing also.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike helps me to manage my emails

  ### 28. Fast and Easy to Use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert P. | Founder, Consumer Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike makes communicating with customers as easy as sending a text. For the longest, we would have to sift through threads of emails and waste time trying to figure out where we left off. With Spike, everything is displayed in message format making email communication super easy to follow.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Nothing, their mobile and web app are on point!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike solves having to sift through email threads by making emails read like a text message. This saves us time and makes our communications with our clients much more organized.

in the plan for schools it seems that I cannot add multiple email accounts.
As an additional CTO I manage several email accounts of my academic institution, of class projects.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to have all my email accounts here.
outlook is torture.

**Reviewed by:** Lex R. | Owner | Lead Generation for Solopreneurs, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I love that I can separate my inboxes, that I can bulk archive and easily see unread/read

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I wish it looked more like a normal email when I'm composing because that's what my recipient will see. The chat idea is cool but that's not why I use Spike.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to sort and filter email better and Spike makes that possible

  ### 31. A great email platform which provide related information all together.

- A chat like email app.

  ### 32. Wonderful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The speed of getting emails and of support when needed.
It is amazing to be able to receive and reply to Exchange emails before Outlook has even picked up the message.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The big downside, is the learning curve, which is quite high when moving from a more traditional email program like Outlook.
Also, at the moment, it does not look possible to add images to signatures.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It brings everything into one app, and the 'chat' view, once you are used to it, puts all of the essential bits there in front of you. Less time is spent scrolling through emails trying to track a conversation.

  ### 33. Messenger for corporate and clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohith G. | Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike helps in transferring messy inboxes into well-organized and sorted ones. Sending and receiving emails is made easier with it. It makes the emails look like an instant messaging conversation. Prioritization and sorting of emails are the best features of Spike.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I don't know if the issue is with my mobile or some bug with the Spike application; it keeps force closing sometimes. Other than this,
 Spike is perfect to use.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prioritization of emails helps me in replying to the most urgent ones. Emails are well organized and can be found easily with the search option. Chat-like thread makes it look cooler and more efficient.

  ### 37. A super calendar App

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** FAUSTO E. | Consultor Digital de Empleabilidad, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I have been looking for a calendar that manages everything in one for a long time, Spike has it! And it was amazing to see how well it works at the level of synchronization with email. The Projection Foundation gives them a 10/10

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

We don't use the groups function, everything else is awsome!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manage multiple calendar events in one place

  ### 38. Good, easy email program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Russell K. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Simplified, efficient dealing with emails.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Not sure why typing an email subject is so hesitant. Have to type slowly. Will likely learn why and fix it.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

See above.

  ### 39. Best email chat-like app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael K. | System Support

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I like that my emails are organized in a chat-like style.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Minor bugs:
1. Doesn't go full screen after auto start.
2. Constant label " get mobile app" even if I have it on same account.
3. Really hard to find the desktop version for win on their website (web version is default). Even if I already knew that it exists.
4. Cannot see wich contracts were blocked in order to reconsider some of them.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I tried lots of email apps. Spike is the most convenient due its chat-like structure. It makes easier and faster to interact with my clients, provides awesome visualization. Tasks section is a nice feature as well.

  ### 40. Finally a email client that truly works for business email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neil H. | Owner/advisor , Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Works great for having multiple email addresses. Makes organizing easy because of the color coordinating of email addresses. Many other features work great.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Having the ability to have SSO across all devices.
Administrator panel for business email.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think providing an SSO for all devices may be in the works.

  ### 41. Fantastic up-ending of traditional email workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael V. | c, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike makes inbox zero nearly effortless, with easy mass archive and trash and built-in unsubscribe and blocking. Organizing by conversation participants and presenting the thread like a chat conversation fixes the problem I've had with virtually every other email client where you can't tell which direction the conversation is going or where the newest message is. It just makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The only bad things so far are lack of keyboard shortcuts and customization. If I could use gmail inbox commands to archive/trash/spam/etc it would be absolutely perfect. I had a problem with archived email reappearing in priority but the customer support was quick to respond that engineering was working on it. It was fixed within a day.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not getting behind and having 300+ emails to process. Not getting lost in a thread and losing the end. Processing my inbox takes about a quarter of the time that it used to.

  ### 42. loving spike!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony W. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

The way that the email is organised is great. I can focus on what's important based on the sender and the subject. I also enjoy the way I view emails like messages on my phone.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

i can't find the forward button at times cause it's not obvious.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the way we view emails like messages on the phone.

  ### 43. Email Structure Like No Other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter J. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

I have used dozens of email platforms but the way spike threads communication makes is so easy to find and engage. It treats comms like text messages and threads based on person not subject line which is huge.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I would love to see more account options and controls for out of office. Also being able to merge in other non email channels into one "comms thread" would be great!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is solving email organization for me. I don't miss emails and content is much easier to find. also the interface translates well to mobile. over all I enjoy using email again.

  ### 44. Saved me from declaring email bankrupcy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cezar P. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Grouping by sender/participants into reasonable threads is the best feature I've seen in an email client and the single feature that helps me bulk-manage newsletters I wanted to catch up on but wasn't able to, or notifications from the same service. It makes cleaning your and reducing unread messages by HUNDREDS a piece of cake. Spike saves me from drowning in dozens of emails coming every day.
I LOVE IT.
I not only "would" but DO recommend it to everyone.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Sometimes not everything I'd like to be grouped is grouped (like emails from Quora),
At first, even private custom domains required a subscription, but this is no longer the case.
If you have a catch-all email domain and use multiple recipient addresses, it gets confused - but it's understandable!

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

+ Information overload solved
+ Easily clean up even old newsletters that were stuck at unread
+ Able to blend in all inboxes without importing to a single email account
+ Helps me manage my calendar too
+ Works as instant messenger if both sides use it!

  ### 45. Love the New concept and chat like layout.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando D. | Founder / Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Organizing emails by people not subjects
Nice app design and aesthetic.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I only dislike that all sent emails have white backgrounds.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Uncluttered inbox

  ### 46. Completely changing the game on email - and for the good!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad M. | Insurance Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Everything works: unified inbox, signature customization, hot keys, thread view for emails, and Google contacts integration. Making email for my business impossibly simple and fast.

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

The only downside I've found at the moment is the cloud integration with Google drive is a little finicky on the browser. Works just fine on mobile. Looking forward to seeing this fixed.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making business email communication SO much faster and intuitive through turning emails into chats in the interface for the user while perfectly maintaining traditional email for those who haven't been converted to the glories of Spike yet.

  ### 47. Do group collaborations from anywhere.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anggie S. | Especialista en TI, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

You provide us with the necessary functions to manage calls, and documents, chat in real-time, create video conferences with clients and employees, and keep track of the progress of each project and task, as well as be aware of the efficiency and responsibility of each person with tasks

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

nothing that we dislike, because it provides us with a series of functions that adapt to our way of working, to communicate quickly with our employees in an organized manner.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike is one of the most accessible collaboration tools I've used, it has excellent features that are very useful for people to create connections with clients dynamically and creatively.

  ### 48. Everything you need in one go!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosenda Jra I. | Freelance Content Writer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

Spike transforms your inbox into a chat-like interface and brings all your messaging, collaboration, tasks, and video/audio calls into one place.
This one saves you a lot of space and time! Best ever!

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

Only when it is under maintenance however that is veru necessary to keep the platform up to date. I don't mind and I don't worry at all. Just hoping for more updates.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spike help me save time since all I needed is collaborated in one place. I do not need to go out open another tab or app to check something. It is all in there which I like the most.

  ### 49. Awesome I needed Spike!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve P. | Ceo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

My favorite part is that I don't spend half my day cleaning up my inbox and Imreally love the display contact feature that not only lets you see name and photo of sender but all previous emails in the side panel too! I've been trying out others but Spike leave the rest behind

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

I've been so busy I haven't set up my one on one onboarding as part of the annual package! Well worth it and can't wait to learn some new s tricks

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management of morning emails, notes and Cal all in one place

  ### 50. email for humans

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolas C. | Medical Coder , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Spike?**

every other email service I have used has this flaw. It's not intuitive and natural to read.
This one IS that and more

**What do you dislike about Spike?**

sometimes I have to double check on the other email service to make sure it has the latest data going. I am sure it's because I am learning this still.

**What problems is Spike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email chains do not break your will just by looking at them, here..... the last update is clearly defined and you know who sent what. It auto-categorizes by priority extremely well.
