What do you like best about Spendwise?

I appreciate the ability to search previous orders in real-time and get access to our purchase history. I also appreciate the ease of the approval-chain in Spendwise and the seamless ability to submit / review Purchase Orders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendwise?

I wish there was a way to print approved Purchase Orders to PDF without having to print the cover sheet and the detail sheet on seperate documents. Essentially, I wish you didnt have to print the cover sheet seperately from the detail sheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have solved the problem of not being able to see our purchasing history on certain items, and not having proof of pre-approval for purchases and contracts. We are able to show our auditors the purchase orders with time-stamped approvals that take place prior to the date of service or delivery. We are able to receive items as they come in and track what has not been delivered by vendors. Spendwise also helps us to ensure that we have the proper segregation of duties between Purchaser, Receiver, and Approver to mitigate the risk of fraud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes bookkeeping easy for novices and keeps experience accountants happy"

What do you like best about Spendwise?

Overall experience is good. It allows me to better understand both my booking and my scalability. It also allows me to create custom analysis. It makes billing and payment of exemptions very easy and is great for keeping track of money coming in / out and keeping an eye on invoices due for payment. Payroll is included( you can file it with HMRC via FreeAgent or let your financial adviser do it separately). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendwise?

Exporting information is a bit tricky in some other areas- you can get a pdf out very easily but an xls or csv would be much more useful( you can export the entire company dataset only as a csv, but not distilled key elements such as unpaid expenses or balances even within individual accounts). In some cases you can get round it by cutting and pasting. It is also one of the most expensive cloud accounting software packages out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Spendwise:

I wanted to recommend this product to my colleagues but it's just a little bit too expensive for a startup small sole trader companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?

Saved us a good chunk of time and helped us keep clear and easy records for my accountant. We have since moved on to a more robust software but the cost was definitely a factor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Does more than we need"

What do you like best about Spendwise?

I needed a simple inventory management system and this met the requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendwise?

It does significantly more than we need so we are not using much of its capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Spendwise:

Our business problem was very "small" and isolated but Officewise fit our needs very well. It has much broader capabilities than we are using so our experiences may be less reflective of a more general implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
