Dashes or spaces have to be included (or excluded). Not being able to tailor vendor information as shown on a purchase order. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** All the reports are great options. There's many different features within the program (we have yet to optimise all of them) to make it well rounded, and all users seem happy to use it. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** we're able to easily run reports on Spendwise showing a detailed breakdown of costs and codes to see where our heavy spending is going. ### 6. It has a note, pdf, and PO upload system which is very useful and doesn't require extra e-mails to be sent out to get approval. **What do you dislike about Spendwise?** Tracking can sometimes be difficult. Other than that, no issues. **Recommendations to others considering Spendwise:** If you need easy to use accounting software for tracking POs/approving POs with very little training - Go with Spendwise. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Digital tracking of spending/approvals. There wasn't a way for me to see all of the POs raised for a single for a vendor by several of our company colleagues. I was able to see the POs raised by myself and one additional colleague. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ready access to all of the POs and related amounts. ### 10. It's been very useful in tracking our expenditures, particularly because one of our suppliers seems to constantly have fluctuating pricing on their invoices. **What do you dislike about Spendwise?** It would be useful to be able to send our workers the PO without the pricing attached to it so that they can see the order and track it without calling the office. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Truly invaluable for tracking our purchases. I also appreciate the ease of the approval-chain in Spendwise and the seamless ability to submit / review Purchase Orders. **What do you dislike about Spendwise?** I wish there was a way to print approved Purchase Orders to PDF without having to print the cover sheet and the detail sheet on seperate documents. Essentially, I wish you didnt have to print the cover sheet seperately from the detail sheet. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved the problem of not being able to see our purchasing history on certain items, and not having proof of pre-approval for purchases and contracts. We are able to show our auditors the purchase orders with time-stamped approvals that take place prior to the date of service or delivery. We are able to receive items as they come in and track what has not been delivered by vendors. Spendwise also helps us to ensure that we have the proper segregation of duties between Purchaser, Receiver, and Approver to mitigate the risk of fraud. ### 15. It allows me to better understand both my booking and my scalability. It also allows me to create custom analysis. It makes billing and payment of exemptions very easy and is great for keeping track of money coming in / out and keeping an eye on invoices due for payment. Payroll is included( you can file it with HMRC via FreeAgent or let your financial adviser do it separately). **What do you dislike about Spendwise?** Exporting information is a bit tricky in some other areas- you can get a pdf out very easily but an xls or csv would be much more useful( you can export the entire company dataset only as a csv, but not distilled key elements such as unpaid expenses or balances even within individual accounts). In some cases you can get round it by cutting and pasting. It is also one of the most expensive cloud accounting software packages out there. **Recommendations to others considering Spendwise:** I wanted to recommend this product to my colleagues but it's just a little bit too expensive for a startup small sole trader companies. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saved us a good chunk of time and helped us keep clear and easy records for my accountant. We have since moved on to a more robust software but the cost was definitely a factor. ### 19. It has much broader capabilities than we are using so our experiences may be less reflective of a more general implementation. **What problems is Spendwise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have 100 items of inventory that need a way place orders and track inventory levels.
