Spend HQ is a user friendly spend analytics tool. They customize their features to fit the need of the business and guide you through how to navigate the tool (it is easily able to be self taught as well). What do you dislike about SpendHQ? The one thing I would prefer is to have the same analyst assigned to assist with our quarterly refreshes each time. SpendHQ is a "Best in Class" spend analytics tool. It is customized specifically for your business, and only took 4 weeks to implement. Together we executed multiple stakeholder reviews to further validate the categorization in the tool. The solution as it stands today is focused on Spend Analytics, so some of the other sourcing tools (ex. Contract Management) are not supported. What problems is SpendHQ solving and how is that benefiting you? The SpendHQ solution allows me to accurately categorize Indirect Spend across the organization. We have 98%+ of the spend categorized. There is also a module that provides visibility to spend under management and compliant spend with preferred suppliers. The new platform is faster and more customizable than before. I can run all kinds of reports by vendor, GL, department, and location. Those reports are not just to export the data but to create customized dashboards to share with team members and create graphs within the online platform. The compliance module allows you find real opportunities within your business and build reports and dashboards to share with senior leadership on how your sourcing programs are going. It's almost too customizable so you have to set aside some time to learn the platform and build your dashboards for the less tech savvy members of the team. We're under going a massive preferred supplier audit to see how well our current sourcing programs are working after launch. The ability of this platform show us the compliance levels of a given category or subcategory are really impressive and have shined a light on where some of the gaps are. SpendHQ could do a better job of making it understandable for the average user why they would care about particular metrics within the tool. SpendHQ could do a better job of explaining why these are important to the user. SpendHQ could make the platform even more intuitive (especially how to pull up the transactional detail). SpendHQ helps any organization understand the basics: what are we spending, with who, and for what? It helps us have a fact-based approach to our category strategies. Spend is a fact. Having a fact-based conversation with stakeholders is a mature supply management approach. FY20 P&L improvement as facilitated by Supply was nearly $20M, net of inflation. They are proactive about seeking feedback whenever possible and are great about helping us stay on track whether it be data refreshes or any requested training on the platform. Secondly, the tool especially with the updated platform has been really easy to navigate. It is more intuitive and more flexible to allow us to create the views that we would like to see. The ability of the platform to handle such massive amounts of data and generate reports at a rapid pace has been a life saver in many instances especially last minute request that may come up.
