What I like best about Spendbase is how it actually makes sense of the cloud billing mess. Instead of digging through endless spreadsheets, I can see exactly where our money is going across my AWS infrastructure, all in one place. It’s a huge relief to have that kind of visibility. Getting all your accounts and permissions synced up across different platforms for the first time is a bit of a project, and if you’re not super tech-savvy, it can feel a little overwhelming. What problems is Spendbase solving and how is that benefiting you? How it benefits me is pretty simple: it gives me my time back and stops the "bill shock" at the end of the month. It automatically spots things like unused instances or better ways to use Savings Plans and RIs, which are things I'd usually have to hunt for manually. It’s like having a dedicated teammate whose only job is to watch the budget and make sure we’re not overpaying for stuff we aren't even using. It just gives me a lot of peace of mind. Spendbase basically worked as an "extension" for us, and their negotiation specialists handled the entire process which included tracking, renegotiating, and optimizing software costs. What I love most about Spendbase is how easy they make it to save money on our software stack. They’ve helped us optimize everything from Slack and Google Workspace to Atlassian, and now we’re looking at adding even more tools like Google Gemini, Testrail, and Grammarly. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the only thing I wish for is a broader selection of tools in the initial offering, but that’s just a small thing compared to the value they provide. Spendbase is solving our software spending problems by negotiating discounts and finding savings we’d never be able to discover on our own. The first savings hit within weeks, and I was honestly surprised by the scale of it. They locked in these discounts for a full year, which freed up funds that we’ve now redirected towards events and marketing activities.
