specgit is the visual editor that makes GitHub a better place for teams to write together, live. specgit handles the Git for you. Product managers, UX researchers, technical writers, and their teammates write and format the way they would in any doc tool, and every save is a commit under their own GitHub name. Leave inline comments and edit the same file with teammates. When a doc is ready, specgit opens a pull request, and engineers review it in GitHub the way they review code. Review reads the whole doc and leaves comments, and Triage fixes them and closes the threads. Nothing changes until you approve it. It works with Obsidian vaults too, and saves keep Obsidian's exact format. GitHub remains the source of truth, and specgit never keeps a copy of your documents or comments. The Free plan includes 1 repository and 5 publishes a month, with no credit card. Pro is $8 per seat a month, and viewing and commenting are always free.
