"A transformative virtual experience"
5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

I like to see how people get amazed by the experience. For me it was transformative: an before and an after. I don't want to use "zoom" or "meet" or please not "teams" not ever never again.

Participation is the key word: I love the way you can interact with other people. It looks like you are organizing an event so similar to the real life but online.

I don't want to get back to the other platforms , it became dull. Spatialchat the innovative my company NETI is an innovation consultancy firms its suit us, goes with our way of doing things. Rebel, fun , colorfull !!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

People with a fixed mindset have trouble adapting to the platform. If your participants don't have a playful and joyful personalities, you will find that it is hard to get things done. Advice: prepare your team with some tricks to smooth the adaptation to the platform for grumpy people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great to simulate reception/poster session type events."
4.5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

I like that this simulates the flow and transition of a poster session or reception mixer. It allows separate small group conversations and movement through the room, and between rooms. The audio and video do well, and the broadcast video feature is nice for larger groups. Being able to customize backgrounds is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

The room capacity limits make it so you have to funnel everyone to a stage room or to separate rooms and use the broadcast feature to communicate instructions for everyone. When you start, the video bubbles are small, so you have to Zoom in a fair amount in order to see people better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice concept for medium sized international workshops"
4/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

flexibility to define background images, supported by several browsers, good feature to have different room setups (for audio only, video presentation and ad-hoc gatherings), generally good audio and video quality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

the video conference room only allows you to have 5-6 people "on the stage" at the same time, which makes it hard to have questions/discussions with a larger audience. There seems to be no option to define "non-audible" walls in a social gathering map, which leaves you with some problems of interference between different groups chatting (where spatial distance is not always easy to manage) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great platform for remote meetups!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

The interactiveness is excellent! The usability of talking to people near you and everybody in the room is fantastic. I find it very useful for group dynamics, remote happy hours, and MOB development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

It could be easier to find yourself in the room when there are too many people there. Also, I'm not sure how this is a constraint on my version, but it is hard to customize the background to something more related to my company or the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Spatial Chat is remarkable and true experience when you go into it"
5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

SpatialChat helps/support when you are putting an event together, or a meeting is they answer your emails right away to make sure you know what features you need to make the event unforgettable for all involved. With SpatialChat, you can change the backgrounds to whatever photo you have to feel like you are actually at the location. It is effortless to use, and once you are on it, it's fun too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

What I disliked about SpatialChat is that you can't have more than 50 people in a room. If we have a reunion or meeting with 60 people, we would need to separate into two rooms of 30 then. Sometimes you want to have a meeting or event of 60-70 people in one room, and you can't do it with SpatialChat because you need to use the broadcast message so everyone can hear. "Cool, interactive, customisable and miles better than Zoom for virtual networking!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

If you have been using Zoom (or any similar apps) for your virtual networking then you need to switch to Spatial Chat immediately! Spatial Chat gives the virtual attendees freedom and autonomy to move freely from room to room, and each room can be different from the last. The amazing thing about Spatial Chat is of course the spatial sound feature, which mimics what you would experience when physically present in a room with lots of groups of people having separate conversations. I can't wait to see how Spatial Chat expands its offerings over the next few years and I hope that it can change people's perceptions on virtual events! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

There is always room for improvement so I would like to suggest some things which could make SpatialChat even better:

- Ability to invite participants on stage in the Stage Room

- 'Buildable scenes' - customisable options for building the layout of a room, rather than having to use a whole template from the library provided or upload your own background

"Great for conferences and making remote teams closer"
4/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

The way Spatial broadcasts voice based on avatar distance makes it really simple to form small groups talking about different topics spontaneously. This makes it pretty awesome for virtual conferences as you can easily hop from one group to the other in order to find the one that interests you the most.

Put up a background with an office layout with one room per team member and you've regained some of the spountaneous interactions that are lost when only chatting with your colleagues via slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

The screen sharing support could be improved. It works reasonably well but it lacks resolution (when sharing an IDE it can be difficult to read the text). Sometimes the shared screen window becomes black without any apparent reason and you need to exit/enter in order to fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Spatial Chat is great for networking events and small group activities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

Individual attendees have more freedom to move around and chat with other attendees without disrupting the room or having to rely on the host to create breakout rooms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

There are some audio issues on occasion, noise in the background for some users but not all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Virtual party from the comfort of your desk"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

The near and far feature to raise and lower the conversation volume mimics being in a real room. I thought it was really fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

Only a few side chats available. Would be nice to have a "cone of silence" option to only have 2 people talk in case we need to share something private. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unique concept"
5/5
What do you like best about SpatialChat?

Creating multiple rooms and the sound that considers distance is incredible. We use it for work but I can see many uses out of work as well. It has increased productivity and allowed us to hire more people to work remotely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SpatialChat?

The chat is not good enough. Sending files via chat should be possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
