I do wish the pages were a little more user-friendly.

I find that there are a lot of "things" on the page that you may not be using and can be confusing.

What do you like best about Sovos?

The customer support is always there to help. Any issues they definitely help at the earliest. If there is no immediate solution they help to find a way to work around the issue and get the job done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sovos?

System lags or hangs some times during times of peak sales tax filing. Which is annoying if you are testing something or setting up exempt customers.

So need to logout and login again and again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Sovos:

Definitely good customer support. Good product to use for Sales tax compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sovos solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sales tax filing issues and third party vendor data which could be transferred into SOVOS.

Assistance with monthly filing, data troubleshooting, and notice responses! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Would be great if notice team were a bit quicker to resolve or respond to comments, as they tend to be time sensitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sovos solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are helping us with all our state sales tax filings across our three companies! It would be extremely labor-intensive to handle these in-house, as we have a filing requirement in almost all 50 states across the three companies, so that would be up to 150 returns each month! Sovos has helped streamline that process and keep the internal work to a minimum. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After you sign with them and become their customer, next year they increase their price sharply to a very high price range. And it is very tedious and troublesome to negotiate with them. And their tax person needs to be more trained and more experienced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
