2. Well described software features.

3. Software Reviews and rating option helps to understand the pros and cons from real users.

What do you like best about SourceForge?

Easy to use interface, minor exposure to folks looking for EDI Software. Email communication with reps was satisfactory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SourceForge?

$325 for the listing, and you get locked in if you forget to cancel within 10 days before the next billing period. We got 1-3 clicks a month for $325 compared to the 20-30 we would get from Capterra for the same price. Also, it defaults to Open Source software 1st unless you select the Commercial Tab... Hi Chris- sorry about the experience you had. A lot has changed since you last used our service, including a huge influx of traffic to the EDI category. You'd be looking at 50 to 100 times the amount of clicks you used to get, and much higher quality. We can also help you generate reviews from your customers now as well. Sometimes it happens that when you are trying to download a software/project. But there are a bunch of different download buttons which redirect you to downloading some junk software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You should definitely try it. I find it more useful as it has to offer lots of useful features, such as Discussion Forums, Code Repository, Statistics of downloads, Issue tracking and many more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about SourceForge?

Simple steps and easy to understand interface to host your software. Sourceforge is also a great repository to download open-source software. When your problem is very specific and you do not want to invest heavy amount to buy a full version of a software. You can easily get some open source software to get your job done. I even do not remember how much time I downloaded from Sourceforge. As a repository its really very help full. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SourceForge?

Sometime, I found it's U.I confusing. Some time software comes with more than one download button so its not easy to identify the correct one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
