Tools for collaboration and distribution should be improved so that we can utilize them effectively.

This will allow users to compare, review, and download the software, making it a valuable resource for developers and IT professionals in the best way.

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

SourceForge is the best platform to find, discover and choose from a wide variety of open-source and business software. It has intuitive interface, easy sign up process, and makes your software search effortless. SourceForge has an array of filters to help you find the most relevant software for your business need.

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

SourceForge is a good platform that has been really helpful in my software search and I am really satisfied with it. There is nothing that I dislike about that platform at the moment.

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit I have got from using SourceForge is the ability to find the most suitable software for my business requirements very quickly. It has also given me the space to write my reviews and recount my experience of using various business softwares. It has been extremely helpful in discovering various open-source softwares. SourceForge helped me numerous times in selecting the best solution for my needs, and I highly recommend it for software search.

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

The most helpful thing about sourceforge is that I can store my projects files and host them for users to download and users can choose from multiple servers to download depending on region.

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

What is disliked about sourceforge is search. I face difficulties while searching for any project.

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me to store my projects files which is related to android custom from. Storing it somewhere is difficult for me. It also becomes difficult for users to download if I store it somewhere else. It also shows statistics of my project downloads.

SourceForge platform really helps to make up my mind when deciding which software to go for. It has a lot of reviews available that are helpful to know a software better

Difficult to rationalize annual spend vs the results that we've seen (there are other more efficient channels)

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

I love that Sourceforge is the hub for all sorts of software needs, especially Open Source Softwares. It has a huge community of developers and customers. There are many comparison charts and reviews from ordinary users to help you figure out the best Softwares for any need. The software projects and a wide variety of software recommendations are always helpful when you're looking for an inexpensive alternative to an expensive product.

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

There are sometimes multiple download links on the software pages, which can be confusing. The website UI isn't something I am very fond of either as I used to find it difficult to navigate and discover what I was looking for when I first visited it.

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding and downloading Open Source software alternatives to priced products, downloading Softwares, and finding software recommendations. Also, it has an incentive program for writing reviews, up to 5 reviews, which is cool.

It combines functions that normally would be distributed across diferent platforms

The interface in some situations is a bit overwhelming

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In sourceforge you can discover lots of open source software where you can get inspiration for your own software, but the main characteristic of sourceforge is the ability to host the binaries of your projects acting sort of like a CDN

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

The best thing about SourceForge is that it provides a huge platform to the open source community. 

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

Sometimes it happens that when you are trying to download a software/project. But there are a bunch of different download buttons which redirect you to downloading some junk software.

**Recommendations to others considering SourceForge:**

You should definitely try it. I find it more useful as it has to offer lots of useful features, such as Discussion Forums, Code Repository, Statistics of downloads, Issue tracking and many more. 

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a part of running a business and developing software, it becomes difficult to maintain different projects and manage different versions of the software developed by our different developers. SourceForge does the job for us.

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

Simple steps and easy to understand interface to host your software. Sourceforge is also a great repository to download open-source software.  When your problem is very specific and you do not want to invest heavy amount to buy a full  version of a software. You can easily get some open source software to get your job done. I even do not remember how much time I downloaded from Sourceforge. As a repository its really very help full. 

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

Sometime, I found it's U.I confusing. Some time software comes with more than one download button so its not easy to identify the correct one. 

**Recommendations to others considering SourceForge:**

Source forge has some excellent feature like Discussion Board,Issue tracker etc.  I think these are very usefull and should be exploited by the users. 

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it for version control of my Proof Of Concept in Cerner.Now, when I am a student as I am doing master, I have used so many software downloaded from Sourceforge.

**What do you like best about SourceForge?**

SourceForge was bought by a new company in the beginning of this year and has improved greatly ever since. Https support has been added and all bundled software have been removed. Malware can also be scanned and even better is the 2 factor authentication for your account. 

**What do you dislike about SourceForge?**

Installing games can be cumbersome. When we downloaded a free Sudoku game, it took forever. Then when we uninstalled it and later found out that the hard drive was working really hard; which means the Sudoku downloader was still running. Still not clear what was going on there. 

**Recommendations to others considering SourceForge:**

Yes I would recommend it .

**What problems is SourceForge solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a one stop shop for all software needs. So if ever I need a software tool, I go to sourceforge and install what I need. Saves a lot of time.
