I like the fact that I can tag specific line items as "hot" and visualize that urgency with the little fire icon. Having one space to consolidate all changes to a PO or line item is very helpful, espeically when looking back to see the history of an order. I have noticed that the "supplier requested updates" and the "buyer requested updates" tab for an ERD can get easily confused. An example of this is, I have recommneded to the supplier that we push out the ERD to 11/15. After proposing the new date, I noticed that I immediately had a new message in the "Updates" tab, and it looked like the system was directing me to accept my own proposed date push. SourceDay provides a platform that streamlines the communication with our suppliers and has significantly reduced the amount of time spent manually updating purchase orders. We no longer have to email PDF copies of POs to suppliers for verification and PO updates integrate quickly into our ERP to reflect the most up-to-date information. The filtering functionality is a little clunky in the UI - would be better if it functioned closer to Excel filtering, especially when most of our suppliers previously did this work in Excel. It would be nice if there were additional fields that you could update and integrate back to Netsuite, even if they were not something a supplier was able to update. For example, the expected arrival date is tied to the ship date, but only the ship date integrates updates from SourceDay to our ERP and then we have to manually update the arrival date directly in the ERP. Being able to get the confirmations for price and delivery to load directly to my system so I don't need to go back and try and find the emails I was getting to know when product will be delivered to us has saved me a ton of grief from before we put it in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
