Constant emails and phone calls were very difficult to keep up with and keep track of. Being able to look at a dashboard and see whether or not a response was needed, then follow up in that same space and track the history of the communication and changes was not only a massive time saver, but it ensured that the follow up happened and that a response was received. It helped us to hold ourselves and the supplier accountable. Accuracy within our ERP was also very much improved. In the past, even when a conversation happened and a change was accepted, updating the PO in our ERP was a separate task and would get missed. This led to inaccurate planning and parts shortages. I can't say enough about the efficiency and accuracy gains on the team, we are doing more work with less people, we've reduced inventory and improved on time delivery. The SourceDay team is also a pleasure to work with and is so helpful from integration and implementation through the onboarding and training of suppliers. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** The platform is great, I have no complaints. You just need to be sure your team and supply base buy into it and really adopt it. Change is hard, but don't have a foot in two worlds, you will not realize all of the benefits if you don't embrace it and funnel the work through the platform. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping up with updates to PO's was nearly impossible. We were highly reactive, and focused on late PO's, which many times was too late to stave off a problem or parts outage. Our ERP system due dates were inaccurate and there was too much workload to keep up with. We added people and added inventory safety stock to cover up for cumbersome processes and inaccuracies. We now have a much higher on time delivery rate and utilize the supplier score to work with our suppliers and push them for improvements. Top performing suppliers operate on virtually zero safety stock, which has helped pull large amounts of dollars out of our inventory. Our ERP system due dates are kept accurate, due to the automated updates to the ERP, which helps us with our production planning. Overall the team is much less stressed out and we are performing at a much higher more efficient level. ### 6. I use this platform for all of my high volume suppliers and it has greatly reduced the amount of time i spend managing these suppliers. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** It's not that I dislike anything, its that many of the features I wish I had are additional add-ons that I have to get more approval for. I like how it links to the internal system that we use, so if a change is made on our end in our system, it will update on SourceDay and notify the supplier/vendor. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** The downside to SourceDay is that a supplier/vendor does not regularly check for updates throughout the day. This can be fixed by making sure you and your supplier/vendor are on the same page when using SourceDay. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** SourceDay has been solving problems such as past-due purchase orders, discrepancies in pricing on purchase orders, and other little things that we may miss on our end without having SourceDay. Having one space to consolidate all changes to a PO or line item is very helpful, espeically when looking back to see the history of an order. The "Split Line" option is also very helpful for tracking early deliveries. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** I have noticed that the "supplier requested updates" and the "buyer requested updates" tab for an ERD can get easily confused. An example of this is, I have recommneded to the supplier that we push out the ERD to 11/15. After proposing the new date, I noticed that I immediately had a new message in the "Updates" tab, and it looked like the system was directing me to accept my own proposed date push. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** SourceDay is helping us prioritize upcoming urgent or late delivery lines, and working with the supplier to achieve the most accurate expected receipt date. ### 12. We no longer have to email PDF copies of POs to suppliers for verification and PO updates integrate quickly into our ERP to reflect the most up-to-date information. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** The filtering functionality is a little clunky in the UI - would be better if it functioned closer to Excel filtering, especially when most of our suppliers previously did this work in Excel. It would be nice if there were additional fields that you could update and integrate back to Netsuite, even if they were not something a supplier was able to update. For example, the expected arrival date is tied to the ship date, but only the ship date integrates updates from SourceDay to our ERP and then we have to manually update the arrival date directly in the ERP. This would be much easier if we were able to update that date at the same time we were accepting a change to the ship date. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Streamlined communication with our suppliers and reduced manual work for our teams. I think the thing I dislike the most is that we didn't put this in when we came up on NetSuite. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the past, I would get an email confirming price and delivery, if I got one at all. With Source Day, I have a quick confirmation from my suppliers that they have the PO and that the price and delivery is confirmed and automatically loaded directly to our system. This will eliminate many of the pricing issues that get found on the back side when Accounting goes to pay the invoices and needs me to reconcile the pricing. ### 16. When suppliers are fully onboard and provide accurate and timely updates it is helpful. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** A lot of our ordering is tied to job or orders. If a job changes or we need to ship from stock instead of buying to order, making changes is cumbersome. We cannot simply unlink the order from a Sales Order or job. We have to request in comments or email the vendor to cancel the line (We cannot). Once canceled we put up another line to go through the process again. Also, if a supplier is not responsive and a PO is late, we need to send them a message through SD or an email asking them to provide an accurate date. If we change Epicor to signal that the material will not arrive in time for shop planning or to meet a delivery date requirement a message is sent to the supplier about the new date. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Price changes and accuracy on high volume stock ordering has improved. Well, that's true for our business as well. While we love NetSuite, our systems were basically running blind when it came to our Purchase Orders and Inbound Supply. With a lean supply chain team, we didn't have time to transcribe all of our phone calls, texts, emails, etc. into NetSuite. Ultimately, we had no way to truly understand the many factors of our inbound supply. The implementation process into NetSuite and (to all of our surprise) our vendors went smoothly with adoption being higher than anticipated. Even though we are only scratching the surface of SourceDay's benefits, we are so much more confident with our inbound supply, and that's what ultimately made the best positive impact to our business. **What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform?** The implementation seemed to take a bit longer than we would have wanted/expected. **What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We simply didn't have great visibility into our inbound supply.
