Soracom is a cloud-native IoT connectivity platform that helps companies connect, secure, and manage devices worldwide. With one SIM, customers get multicarrier cellular coverage across 500+ carriers in 200+ countries and territories, plus automatic carrier failover and optional satellite connectivity, all on transparent, pay-as-you-go pricing. Connectivity is only the start. Soracom is secure by design, giving teams control over how devices connect, where data goes, and who can reach it. Device traffic can be isolated at the platform level and routed privately into AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or on-premises systems through VPC peering, managed VPN tunnels, or dedicated lines, so sensitive data never has to touch the public internet. All of this works without the lead times and single-carrier lock-in of a traditional private APN. Soracom also secures and filters data in the network, not just on the device. Payloads can be filtered, cleaned, and normalized in flight before they reach your cloud. TLS encryption and cloud credentials are handled by the platform rather than stored on devices. Remote access sessions require no open ports or public IPs. The result is leaner firmware, a smaller attack surface, and centralized control across the entire fleet.
