I was first introduced to Sophus X in late 2023.

Having been involved with conceptualising, designing and simulating complex supply chains over the last 25 years., this tool was a welcome breath of fresh air.

Byron and the team at Sophus Technology made it so easy to on-board and get up to speed with the platform.

Access to a library of models made sure you were able to truly hit the ground running.

The clarity and ease of the user interface, with which you can populate the base case and flow straight into scenario construction and evaluation, was key to ensuring that this was a tool I wanted to have in my toolbox - and still is today!

Building confidence in any output relies on integrity and transparency and has to be robust, able to withstand the highest levels of rigour and scrutiny, and Sophus X delivered on all fronts.

Taking clients through their network improvement journey, from ‘This is your base case’, ‘Here are the future case scenarios’ to ‘…and this is the optimum recommendation for the way forward’ was made so much easier.

I find Sophus fast, user-friendly, reliable, and smooth. It helps in reducing transportation mileages and costs by optimizing the flow of the network. I also appreciate its capabilities in data processing and cleaning, error detection and warning, and the ability to soften constraints. I switched from Coupa and Optilogic because Sophus is cheaper, faster, and easier to use. The initial setup was a breeze, taking just a few minutes with only a username and password needed. First off, SophusX really stands out for how easy and quick it is to use. Unlike many other network design tools, both cloud-based and desktop-based that can be slow and clunky, especially when you're trying to zoom in on maps or sift through huge data set, SophusX moves very smoothly and quickly. It's clear a lot of effort and innovation went into making it user-friendly and seamless.

Secondly, SophusX shines in how it simplifies building a baseline model of your network. While other tools can take months to accomplish this, SophusX is the only tool out there for enabling users to build out a network baseline by easing constraints, streamlining what used to take months into just a few days.

Then, there's the fact that SophusX has features and capabilities you won't find in other tools. For example, it has comprehensive end-to-end cost-to-serve engine and highly practical inventory optimization algorithm, among others..

Finally, the customer support with SophusX is top-notch. Instead of the back-and-forth of sending files and waiting for help like other similar tools, SophusX lets their support team work with you directly and immediately through a special support account. I genuinely have no complaints about SophusX. However, one enhancement that could significantly benefit the platform is incorporating ocean freight rates, tariffs, and inland LTL/FTL rates.
