It's an easy place to create Phishing education campaigns and see what happens and who you need to educate. It's integrated in with the rest of the Sophos Cloud security suite, so you've got a single place to manage all of your different security options. Once you've got it set up, it's easy to create new phishing campaigns from some of the usual suspects - Microsoft, LinkedIn, etc. and then get some awesome reporting back on exactly what happened with each email you sent out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Sophos PhishThreat? Setup's a bit more involved than I'd like. While it's in the Sophos Cloud platform, it's also a separate setup from most of the rest of the platform - it doesn't share as much information back and forth as I want it to. You do have to remember to whitelist your Phish Threat emails in other parts of the Sophos Cloud or else it will end up blocking the email from Phish Threat. I guess that's a good thing that other email protection programs stop these too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Sophos PhishThreat: It only works in conjunction with the Sophos cloud platform, so if you have any on-prem Sophos email solutions, it will not work. We are solving educating employees on what Phishing emails look like and targeting our education to those who open PhishThreat emails. It has allowed us to target our education on those who are the highest risk individuals instead of blasting the whole company with trainings that aren't relevant to people, improving job satisfaction and satisfaction with IT in general. PhishThreat, a great tool for doing Phish Awareness Campaigns" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Sophos PhishThreat? I like it a lot, because in security, we never think about the user, only about servers, antivirus, appliances and others, and with this tool I have been able to train colleagues or clients, about the existing risks with the use of mail, and how fraudulent links, malicious attachments and more, can be harmful for the company. What I like most is the ability to measure whether the user has already opened the mail or not, and if the user take the exam. I do not like that for the user to receive the email, he needs to add the Sophos domain to a white list so that the email doesn't reach the spam folder, I think that even though it is something simple and necessary, sometimes in the demonstrations it complicates more the process. And maybe, also, Sophos should improve the delivery time of the solution, because it takes a while in sending the emails for the campaign, not too much, but a few minutes, but besides that, the rest is ok for this solution. When the attack campaign is created, choose a domain for Sophos to send the emails 3. That domain @example.com, put it in a white list on the company mail server, so it does not reach spam folder. 4. What problems is Sophos PhishThreat solving and how is that benefiting you? The main benefit is the ability to educate the users, in addition to having full control of the workflow from when the campaign is launched, until when the user opens the mail or not, and when he takes the exam, I like that a lot. Many times IT managers don't know how to start creating awareness campaigns and showing them to employees. That's where Sophos Phish Threat comes in. I like it because it already incorporates super simple and editable templates to the needs of our organization. Templates of all kinds and super real. It shows current campaigns for all types of public and in different languages. In addition to that, it has an academy in which the user, once he has fallen into the simulation attack, automatically registers to obtain a super didactic course on how to avoid being manipulated. Recommendations to others considering Sophos PhishThreat: Phish Threat is part of the Sophos Central module, so the whole vision of this set can be seen unified. Again and as I have already said in other reviews; I am fascinated by the idea that everything is under the same command and with the minimum of personnel you can manage the platform. What problems is Sophos PhishThreat solving and how is that benefiting you? The main problem that we solved with the test module is the types of simulation and the way in which we would send it. There is no need to worry with this console since it takes care of everything, only a few settings are necessary. After that, we generated the reports for the audit and thus know what the type of people were and the most recurring department in this type of attack to generate new campaigns and thus instruct them in cybersecurity. Our users have gotten much better at spotting phishing and they even notify us when they see something suspicious. That's a huge improvement where people really started to think about it. The templates are good and reporting the same. As a company we have heightened out security status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Sophos PhishThreat? There's not much to dislike. It would maybe be nice if it was a part of the standard service so we didn't have to negotiate price etc again. Sophos also have a small handicap when it comes to their integration with AD, other directory or Azure. You are stuck with the first solution you go for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Sophos PhishThreat: See if you can integrate it with other Sophos applications and make sure that you have the right set up when it comes to sync between Sophos and your directory or AD. You might also consider keeping them apart but that might also leave more work to do later. But make sure to take the right decision from the beginning as Sophos have no way of reverting at the moment without making a reset of your account as how we understand the situation.
