Using the UI is very easy, my favorite thing is Setting up an IPSEC VPN because is really easy and fast using the Security Profiles. You can create a custom profile and you won’t have to waste time or risk mistakes with the Diffie-Hellman encryption settings.

Also the integrations with google workspace are really secure, performance on my XGS4500 is really smooth, no need to be carefull with loads of work , Return of Invest is clear preventing us to lose a lot of money, the support is worldwide and AI is starting to show improvements, very recommended. I enjoy the interface; after a bit of adjusting, I was able to understand it quickly. It also performs very well in our environment. Although we have an enormous throughput, it has never bottlenecked. We’ve also had great support from Sophos, with the exception of one time, but switching technicians was straightforward and easy. I haven’t been able to fully understand how the AI detections in Sophos X Ops work in practice. It flags what I assume are false positives, and I haven’t had the chance to properly test the detection engine to confirm. Log research can also be very tedious. What I like most about Sophos Firewall is its Synchronized Security feature.

When used together with Sophos endpoints, the firewall and devices share security information in real time. If a device becomes compromised, the firewall can automatically identify and isolate it, improving threat detection, response time, and overall network visibility. What I like most about Sophos Firewall is the central management and reliability. We manage over 20 devices all over the UK, so the central portal is essential for us. We've only had one hardware failure and that was quickly resolved. The performance is also good, and the firewalls make good use of available WAN links.
