Enables a very clean oversight and configuration and control of the entire Sophos hardware and Software ecosystem. What do you dislike about Sophos Central? Only downside is the fact that in order to perform some admin level tasks requires a complex set of steps to get down far enough to perform those actions. Not always intuitive on how to get to where you need to be. Once you have access to the central dashboard, you just need to download the appropriate .exe file for your operating system and install it on the server with just a few clicks. In such cases, we need to start the Windows server in Safe Mode and make certain changes to the Sophos service. For me and my environment, it solves a key problem: a developer or IT personnel managing the client’s server cannot uninstall the software without informing us, as uninstalling or disabling the product requires a tamper protection password. I also appreciate the Sophos Lockdown feature—once enabled, only whitelisted programs can run or open, and no other software can be installed on the server without prior approval from us.
