What problems is Sonix (sonix.ai) solving and how is that benefiting you?
Like most people who have better things to do (which is pretty much all of us), I can't stand the grind of doing manual transcriptions. It's a frustrating chore: stopping the recording every couple of seconds, entering text into a document, rewinding, playing, writing, etc. As a writer and content manager who charges by the hour, this process was costly to my clients. On top of that, this tedious task was mentally draining.
The first recording that Sonix transcribed for me was poor quality at best, and the software informed me of this, letting me know that the accuracy might not be that high. I was amazed by how accurately its AI captured the text - I estimate it got about 95% of the text right.
The intuitive editing interface is a joy to work with - the video, audio, and transcription text are synced up in a way that allows me to breeze through any minor tweaks to the text.
Sonix gives me more time to do what my clients pay me to do: write and manage content. It's freed me of a task that impacts my ability to do what I do best - it's hard to focus and be creative after dragging your mind through hours of manual transcription. On top of that, the efficiency and productivity boosts that I gain translate into significant savings for my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
