The features of SonicWall in the TZ and NSA family include SonicWall's Cloud-based Advanced Threat Protection with different engines. The results are satisfactory in our organization as we manage more than 350 locations that require us to be vigilant against attacks and ensure business continuity. For the ATP solution, an additional license is needed, and this raises the cost if you only consider acquiring the comprehensive licensing. Additionally, if there is no channel that provides 24/7 support services, you have to do it directly with the brand by raising an RMA.

On the other hand, regarding reports, I don't like that you have to buy the GMS solution because with the control panels that the box already has, it is not very helpful since you don't have full visibility of what is happening in my network. Overall, I like most of the feature of Sonicwall, but here, I would like to mentioned about one the feature from the bundle, and which is IPS. Off course, when IPS is enabled performance may goes down due to multitasking, and consumption of other resource, still it's gives best performance. When IPS is enabled, we can evade number of illegal traffic towards our network. And Sonicwall has great database of IPS signature with perfect classification. Well, there are couple of things that can be improved, such as when GUI is being access is very slow, rules managing, log monitoring is not available on the device where you need separate device/cloud service to store the data. It does require a basic knowledge of how VPN's work, which I had to learn prior to using this product. Once you have your network's IP address and other mandatory technical information that SonicWall requires, a remote connection can be seamlessly established. I like the fact that this program allows me to work remotely. It allows me to access everything on my computer at work from home. It provides quick and seamless access into the network and my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be very spotty at times. Sometimes I randomly lose connection at home, which can affect my work. At times I've lost my work product, because I lost connection mid progress (had not saved). Another aspect I dislike is if I walk away from my computer for more than 5 minutes, it automatically seems to disconnect. When this happens, I'm forced to log back in again.
