About SONETEL

Been using them for corporate SME since 2015 - used to be OK and acceptable given it was cheaper than Skype Connect (Skype Manager) back then and more choice of SIP numbers.

BUT quickly deteriorates into providing terrible, dishonest service since 2017. * Totally hopeless, scam company now in 2020. I would rate them 0 star honestly, and hope they can shut for business for good soon, and stop scamming others.

* Back to Skype World subscription + Skype number and no drama.

[Lousy, embarrassing service]

- Sonetel SIP numbers cross-in to random indian-talking calls (in India?) - you can hear indians talking in the background!! Very unprofessional especially if you have clients calling in - "WTH"

- None SIP phones (CISCO phone) we tried - or iOS/Andriod SIP apps won't ring at all for inbound calls. Outbound calls works ridiculously. Only call forwarding to your landline/mobile works for inbound calls but they charge seperate cost per min!

- They removed our entitlement - one free SIP number - for Premium plan without official notice nor email update, only to found out after 3 months.

Totally madness and dishonest , and waste of time to work even try to work with customer service for all their crappy lousy services and bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
