Our company made the switch a little under 2 years ago from Management Reporter to Solver and it is like night and day. **What do you dislike about Solver?** One thing that happens more often than I would like is if you are copy/pasting or using too many functions it crashes excel. I like the concept of the database and real-time reporting tool in a single solution. I appreciate the ability to copy a spreadsheet directly into the database. Setup and integration time is fast as long as an expert is performing the task. **What do you dislike about Solver?** Not enough training material (documentation and videos) online on how to use and understand the design module features and functions. Designing reports is not straight-forward, which will require an analyst with some technical knowledge to learn and understand. Shouldn't need to setup multiple integration connections to the same target system. All integrations to the same target system should only need 1 connection setup. **What problems is Solver solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to Solver, generating financial reports was done manually. Now all our financials are automatically generated using Solver's reporting and budgeting tool. This increased accuracy and provided more time for analysis. ### 16. It communicates with Dynamics GP so we don't have to upload anything ourselves. It was fairly easy to get our end users up and running on it. Administration is pretty straight forward. **What do you dislike about Solver?** It seems to be a little harder to learn how to create and modify reports than other systems I have used, but once you know how to do it, it's great. We had some struggles during our implementation but I attribute that more to our partner than the product itself. The Live Reporting tool is awesome being able to connect to an ERP System as well as load in excel files. The Report Designer is similar to excel and utilizing pivot tables to be able to slice and dice information. **What do you dislike about Solver?** No current dislikes. As a company, we are continuing to learn the capabilities of Solver and what we can do with the tool to get better reports and information. **Recommendations to others considering Solver:** Understand what you are trying to achieve and expect from the system in terms of reporting and where the inputs are coming from to get out of the gate rolling.
