SoloBid is quoting and invoicing software built specifically for solo trade contractors - electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians, handymen, and other one-person trade businesses. It covers one workflow end to end: build a quote, get it signed, take a deposit, invoice the job, get paid. A contractor can create an itemized quote on their phone at the job site using a saved price book and trade templates, capture the customer's e-signature on the spot, collect a deposit through Stripe, then convert the signed quote into an invoice in a single tap. Customers pay online by card, and overdue reminders are sent automatically. Included in one plan: unlimited quotes, invoices and customers; e-signatures; online card payments and deposits via Stripe; recurring invoices; automated payment reminders; a reusable price book and trade-specific templates; PDF generation; email and SMS delivery; reporting, analytics and CSV export. Available on the web plus native iOS and Android apps. SoloBid deliberately excludes field service management features such as dispatch boards, crew scheduling and GPS fleet tracking. Those platforms are built and priced for teams, commonly starting above $100 per month per technician. SoloBid is a flat $14.99 USD per month with every feature included - no per-seat pricing, no tiers, no add-on modules and no setup fee. There is a 14-day free trial and no credit card is required to start. It is a fit for owner-operators who quote, invoice and collect payment themselves. It is not a fit for companies dispatching multiple technicians or needing full accounting and payroll.
