With Solidworks Visualize, we are able to create photorealistic renders of our products very quickly. The results are amazing. These rendered images can be used for our website, marketing, and print material. We also can create 360° turntables so customers can view our product from any angle. Sometimes when we updated to a new service pack with Visualize and Solidworks some of the decals don't transfer over. This can be frustrating after we have spent time setting up certain camera angles and presets for rendering a specific product. Other than that, everything is great. Visualize allows us to speed up our renderings much quicker than before when we were just using the Solidworks Render. "Wonderful and powerful tool for mechanical design" 5/5 What do you like best about SOLIDWORKS Visualize? there are lots of software available for mechanical design but the solid works is the leader of all those applications software. i really like its feature of selecting material and differentiating material visualization its precision. ease of use user friendly and the most important you will enjoy while working on solid works. 3D feature is so cool. With SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard you no longer need to compromise your marketing and presentation materials by relying on screen grabs, or a budget for costly photographs of prototypes, to show your latest product. With SOLIDWORKS Visualize, you can quickly and easily create lifelike photo-quality images, a mood board of different colors and finishes, high-resolution images ready for print and the web and technical illustrations of key features. Designs can import various CAD formats such as SOLIDWORKS, IGES, STEP, Parasolid, and files from Pro/E, Rhino, SolidEdge, Inventor, and much more. “Easy Mode” user interface option allows users to render by just dragging and dropping in the appearances to “paint” the model, place the desired environment. Incorporate professional texture maps and pull from an expansive cloud library of materials and environments. Users can accelerate renderings when paired with a powerful NVIDIA GPU (or even multiple GPUs!) beyond what is possible in just a CPU based renderer. Its PV360 and Visualize programs are designed for providing quick concept images (PV360 in particular). Visualize however is a much more advanced version which can provide highly detailed models on Par with Keyshot. Keyshot tends to focus highly on it's photorealistic capabilities, having a highly complex materials system which leads to accurately represented complex finishes/materials. Keyshot also has flexible import systems/plugins which can allow you to easily import Solidworks files into its program. Based on your product.if you are doing render for visualizing purpose only SW is enough.you want to more realistic go to Keyshot. But sometimes SW rendering looks like keyshot.i seen some legends model in grabcad and real time those are using SW only that models are looking cool.you are beginner SW is enough. With this great tool, you can import previously created content such as your Explodes, Collapses, Mate Controller, or results from other studies. Once imported, you will have a timeline of all the movement that is occurring for each part and you are ready to export to SOLIDWORKS Visualize. In the same location, I can create my Animation by clicking parts and setting the locations with the use of Keyframes inside of the Motion Manager. The position of these parts is set by freedoms still allowed by your SOLIDWORKS mates or motion drivers. A limitation inside of Animations is that it does not account for any Physics such as gravity or parts interacting. The use of Basic Motion and Motion Studies are very similar but with some key differences. Both are used for dynamic systems where there is movement and interaction between models and I can include higher-end physics like gravity in Basic Motion as well as Force and Dampers in Motion Studies. Solid works is known for it's cad and this product can sometimes be overlooked but it is truly genius, the interface is gorgeous and user-friendly and I've never had trouble finding the option I need.
