"O melhor aplicativo de suporte remoto que já usei"

O que eu acho mais útil no SolarWinds Take Control é a possibilidade de salvar o acesso remoto e todos os computadores de nossos clientes e a variedade de possibilidades que a ferramenta possui, como transferência de arquivos, inserir comandos no prompt diretamente pelo console, monitoramento de processos, hardware e serviços.

What do you dislike?

A único problema que encontrei até agora foi que o software é um pouco pesado ao utilizar em uma configuração mais básica (se comparado aos concorrentes), mas isso não é nenhum empecilho caso seja utilizado em um computador de configurações medianas, até porque ele exige mais do hardware pois a ferramenta possui uma variedade enorme de funções..

Das diversas ferramentas que já testei, o SolarWinds Take Control foi definitivamente a melhor experiência que já tive utilizando uma ferramente de suporte remoto. Claro, existem softwares um pouco mais baratos no mercado (existem até softwares gratuitos), mas nenhum se compara ao Solar Winds na quantidade de recursos, qualidade e facilidade de uso.

Eu utilizo o SolarWinds Take Control para dar suporte aos softwares que a empresa comercializa e também para realizar treinamentos onde exige o acesso remoto na maquina de um cliente. Para este tipo de trabalho o Solar Winds é uma excelente ferramenta, sem comparação com as outras do mercado.

"Simple and efficient"

What do you like best?

we like being able to connect to customers everywhere and anytime, Even if ours customers are not physically present in front of their computer.

We secure access to our customers' PCs by password, which makes the process reliable and secure

What do you dislike?

The solarwinds Take Control solution is too slow down on some pcs. Some times, il's really impossible to connect. Some old pcs do not support the tool that completely blocks the computer. It's impossible to work.

Recommendations to others considering the product

There's no special recommendations. Only, it must be verified that the computer will support the application. and the distant connexion To avoid on old pcs. You must also check that that firewalls do not block the connection.

Customer assistance for one of our softwares.

When our customers (healthcare professionals) have a problem with the software, we must intervene immediately to solve their problem.

Our customers are satisfied with the immediate assistance we can offer. Il's very important for them and of course for us.

"Most powerful and resoureful remote access software for professional use"

What do you like best?

It is the remote access software with more powerful functions that makes remote support fast, easy and secure to all our clients. We have used it for a few years and it has evolved quite a lot and it is now the only software we can trust and recommend for remote access.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing we don't like in this software.

If you require remote access to computers this is the software to use. It has everything you will ever need: real time messaging, file transfer, remote reboot/shutdown (even in safe mode), session recording, remote registry viewing/editing, processes analisys, services view status/start stop services, remote event viewer, remote command line and an endless other usefull funcions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With Solarwinds Take Control we are able to update the software we implement in a lot of computers concurrently without delay and avoiding any travel costs. We can also provide immediate support to customers when they need even when we are out of the office, by simply using the software in our smartphones or tablets.

"The best remote software by far"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to access the console on any device with ease, Take control has been the best product by far. The fact that I get the options of file transfer, and the shell commands have proven to be very useful in unlocking user accounts when users lock them selves out or for when the server is unresponsive.

What do you dislike?

I dislike the fact that there art many options for implementing into a website, I feel its very limited and basic, would like to implement the website support based on our current website template instead of the basic features.

I would highly recommend Take Control for your business, it has everything you need and more.

Benefits are having the ability for a quick and permanent remote access to customers pc's or servers whether it's a quick fix or not. Making it easier to remote back in repeatedly if it becomes an ongoing issue that the client is having.

"Great all round product"

What do you like best?

Management of users has never been easier with this product which packs every product into one easy to install agent. all features work well together and any blips/issues i have encountered have been resolved by technical support in a reasonable time frame. Option to use a live chat to speak to support is handy as you may have other customers on the line whilst facing issues.

What do you dislike?

Portal can be slow at times, web protection policies with lots of whitelist entries will take an age to load or will crash the portal entirely.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely worth picking over the cost of competitors like teamviewer. Much more easy to use and deploy. Features outweigh what other competiting products i have personally used.

"The best Tech remote support tool!"

What do you like best?

The best feature is the ability to add computers to groups to be able to access at a later date without having to initiate contact with customer. Equally creating remote sessions on the fly with PC and Mac users. The simplicity of the applet is the best out there in my opinion!

What do you dislike?

Limitation of the number of Technicians per license. Creating a Admin/Tech structure would increase the value of the product and ability to assign tasks to technicians. Also, the web integration could use some work. Customization and templates would be nice.

Evaluate costs, then flexibility/usability, then cross-platform support.

On the fly remote sessions, and cross platform support (smartphone, PC and Mac). Ability to provide access to technicians to specific groups and computers without exposing all clients to them. The lightweight installer and application.

"SolarWinds Take control is a great product and packed with lot of features !"

What do you like best?

The interface is clean and easy to navigate. Also quite responsive in webrowser and as a standalone. New secret vault feature for keeping password is awesome. You don’t need to purchase another product to keep all your passwords.

What do you dislike?

I couldn’t see any dislikes yet. As Solarwinds MSP mentioned there are some more feature will be available soon. I would suggest to have take control for mobile devices. I am aware it has got some basic functionality. If we can take control a mobile device like PC or Mac then that would be awesome !

Using this product we take control client PC or Mac, and view system information and event viewer. Then we will find a problem and work on the resolutions

"Nova experiência de suporte"

What do you like best?

Estamos prestes a completar 5 anos de uso da ferramenta com melhor custo benefício do mercado, que contratamos em 2014 por ter as melhores funcionalidades na época e ainda são, estou gostando das novidades. Gestão descomplicada de dispositivos e interação com nossos clientes, time de suporte e comercial sempre cordial e prestativo. Bons relatório de desempenho. Ferramenta rápida e eficiente para acesso remoto, mesmo em lugares que a internet não é boa.

What do you dislike?

Demora no Departamento de Desenvolvimento para retornar respostas ou implementar funcionalidades. Não gostei do applet para Android (tentei usar no começo do ano, mas no meu celular não funcionou) então acabei não implementando.

Faltou retorno de uma das mensagens que mandei via plataforma web, assim que entrou a nova interface.

O custo da ferramenta ainda assim é alta

"Tkae Control, The software to do support assistance"

What do you like best?

Everything. Is a powerful software for remote support and control.

Customize website with our logo for access from my clients, simple and easy. With one simple click you can create a PIN to my clients enter on the website and download the software to remotely access the computer. It works on PC, MAC, Android, IOS and Linux. Today we have internet everywere so It's great to support my clients wherever we are, even thru my smartphone. The smartphone app can use fingerprint recognition to open.

There's a lot of information we can have when access a device. We can access to system shell, comprehensive system info, basic system health, drag and drop or copy paste file transfer, remote registry, remote desktop, restart in safe mode, event logs, all even with slower connections.

Take control of everything from admin website, create more IT techs with different login and pass, helpdesk connections and time by IT techs, customize the file that will be download from clients, etc.

What do you dislike?

I don't have nothing to appoint to this software.

If you need a software for support assistance, consider Take Control because is better than any other. Forget Teamviwer, Logmein, anydesk, vnc, ultravnc and other, this is the The Software to do the job

"A Very Good Remote Connection Utility which is built for IT Service Providers"

What do you like best?

The way the connection can be made to remote machines. End User can send a connection request via the 6 Digit Pincode we share or the Support Link we share to them.

Computers can be added to our list so that we can access the machine at anytime if we want.

It will show the status of the Saved machines if the services are running at their end which helps to inform the client the machine is down or not.

Online Chat and File sharing options available.

A history of all the sessions maintained which helps some one to review later.

Various commands can be executed on the go with interactions button including the facility to take the screenshot, recording the session, restarting the system, Remote Registry, System shells, Windows Commands, Passing Ctrl+Alt+Del etc. In short its a handy and hassle-free product which will not let us feel we are working through a remote utility.

We can transfer the connection to some other technicians.

Shutdown/Restart and Emergency Reboot option available in a click or with Keyboard Shortcuts.

Complete system information like OS, CPU, RAM, Network, Harddisk Drive Information can be seen once connected.

Lots of other features are there. Anyone can just try using it for trial to experience it rather than reading the review.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes some users can run the exe once it is downloaded. Mostly this issue is faced on Server OS.

"Straightforward access to my clients systems"

What do you like best?

Ease of use. I've had clients that have asked for a remote session instead of having to wait for me to come to them. Once setup, I now have them on regular maintenance schedules.

What do you dislike?

MSP Anywhere had some issues where it would be unavailable or the service would stop working, no reason why - new version (Take Control) has fixed these issues.

You will find this remote control software to be smooth and clean to use

Work anytime, day or night, on client problems - they can send me a text or an email to have me take care of the problem off hours so less impact on their business.

"Great remote control software"

What do you like best?

I can connect to the computers quickly and the connection is very stable. The client updates automatically saving time. I can transfer files directly to and from the computer enabling quicker patching of software. The clients are all easily managed from the central console.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes on older computers the software can be a little resource heavy. Other than that the software works superbly.

For a remote support company the simplicity of the console is excellent and offers genuinely useful tools that make the job easier. Jobs can be transferred between technicians which is a great bonus. If the remote user has poor internet speed the connection quality can be easily adjusted to use less bandwidth.

Day to day problems fixed, from cannot print, cannot email or cannot access server. I can update sofware remotely, and then restart and software automatically reconnects.

"Excellent!"

What do you like best?

I perform at least 30 sessions a day with approx 3X the amount of money I would make if I was calling to sites to perform traditional IT services. We charge a minimum connection fee and the client is happy to pay and be back working within a short time rather that waiting for next day service

What do you dislike?

I do not have any dislikes - I am very pleased

"Seems to be an improvement"

What do you like best?

I do like the change in the name - it seems to be very similar

What do you dislike?

We do dislike that you aren't automatically logged out. Sometimes a staff member will forget to logout before leaving for the day, then we have to go through everybody's computer figuring out who is still logged in so the next person can log in.. I wish after a certain amount of time of inactivity, it just automatically logged out.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to make plenty of money without the cost of sending out a technician for minor issues (virus issues, back up implementation, tune ups, etc.)

"Best remoto control software"

What do you like best?

Easy to use and fast. Can transfer files to remote computer.

We can have all of our clients computer ready to access on a click of a button

With the new web interface we can remote access our clients from anywhere without the need of installing any software

What do you dislike?

Sometimes there are somes resolutions issues no remote access.

Remote acces from mobile devices is not available yet

Remote access to IOS devices not possible

"Great remote access tool"

What do you like best?

This tool is very easy to use. Quick setup and you are off and running.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice to see multiple screens at the same time. When you have someone with 3 or more screens, you have to constantly bounce around to get on the screen where they run each program.

We are able to jump on the customer's computer and see what they are seeing. We do software installs. We have been using the product for about 4 years now. Much easier to use than a lot of other products we tried.

"Excellent Platform for remote support"

What do you like best?

Able to perform complete support operations required by customers with minimal impact on the customer since it provides complete admin control.

What do you dislike?

That it logs out the user session whenever accessing the app on another device (i.e. doing remote support using a pc, then need to start another session while away from the pc using a phone or tablet.

"Amazing Support Tool"

What do you like best?

Take control has awsome features to monitoring. It helps a lot when you need to keep an eye for your VIP clients.

What do you dislike?

The web version of the console still lack some features like the Wake-on-LAN command.

But overall it's pretty good

"Ferramenta formidável."

What do you like best?

Funcionalidades como prompt de comando é diferencial para a frente de suporte e resolução de problemas mais complexos. "Solid performance, subpar interface"

What do you like best?

Once connected to the user workstation, the performance of the product is very good, and it gives a good amount of detail of the user's system.

What do you dislike?

The interface is text-heavy and not the easiest to use. In particular the file transfer abilities and monitor switching process is clumsy.

Prepare for a little bit of a learning curve with the interface

"the best remote control solution with the easiest administration"

What do you like best?

the administration that gives the technicians is surprising, I can have detailed session history and gives me the option to save everything in video as well as send a satisfaction survey at the end of the session, also I can have reports on the performance of the technicians and know from who is the one that attends more sessions as well as who is the one that takes more time in a session

What do you dislike?

I still can not adapt in its entirety to the new version of the administration console, previously I had defined the reports that I exported and some disappeared with the new console, I also did not find the panel where I could see the tencicos with active sessions (previously I had a monitor where I could see which technicians were in session)

it is simple, friendly and easy to use, the administration it has, the reports and other functions that can be configured is an added value that is very worthwhile.

"Reviewing Solrawinds Take Control an MSP remote help desk and remote desktop platform"

What do you like best?

I've benn using this for about 3 years now as an MSP. it was originally called Beanywhere and was a very good alternative to certain high priced remote platforms we wont mention here, then it was acquired by SolarWinds which made it part of a bigger stronger company. and the software got some updates and ugraded features which are very much in need in todays MSP Market. The interface is easy on the eyes and quite customizable by the MSP for the end user. it's quite easy to deploy and use even if you have a beginner user on the other end. I would recommend testing or acquiring licenses to MSP's or tech support companies i think it's a very good platform and i have no plan to change or stop using it.

What do you dislike?

Some of the dialog boxed only work by mouse click, keyboard doesn't work on yes/no dialog box, maybe it's just me but i've tried on several different pc's with different versions of Windows and same thing happens.

This is the way to go, you can access track log all of your remote sessions, capture screenshot transfer files etc. at less cost than most other platforms.

It gives me an advantage i can respond quickly , even to a customer that is new to our firm

"Love Take Control"

What do you like best?

Makes remote controlling very efficient you have all the tools you need into a single console. Your sessions are recorded, you can enable two factor authentication, transfer a remote session to another technician, the file transfer resume from where it left.

What do you dislike?

When taking control of a customer machine, the background changes from a picture to a solid black background. I think it is to minimise the network traffic but a bit inconvenient.

A perfect solution for ad-hoc remote support if you are already using any other SolarWinds products.

"Very nice control Program for managing supporting computers and users"

What do you like best?

The program when it is working loads in the background as one of the first things so you can at times see things in the boot up process that might be the key to knowing what is going wrong with the computer.

What do you dislike?

I have had occasion where it would not work on a computer for no apparent reason. Uninstalling and re-installing does not fix the problem.

Cost wise it is a wise choice. Feature wise it is a wise choice.

User issues with Software. Computer updates and problem resolution. If the computer can reach the Internet you are typically in good shape!

"Good Remote Control Product"

What do you like best?

Ease of use, fast connection, and good command line and system info features.

What do you dislike?

User management is somewhat clunky, but it's not terrible.

Recommendations to others considering the product

LMI, Bomgar, and others offer similar functionality at greater cost. I would highly suggest testing this product along with other products offered by Solarwinds like MSP Backup.

"Best Monitoring Software ever!"

What do you like best?

Everything is perfect except for Backup. We needed a separate Solarwinds product.

What do you dislike?

We had some Mac-users or linux users and they cannot use the benefits of the Solarwinds Back-up. Also it would be better if we can Have Asset Tracking Only for Mac aswell

"One of the better remote software"

What do you like best?

I like that you can transfer files by drag and drop now, I like the remote access portion, most importantly I love the calling card feature

What do you dislike?

The mouse handling on the app, and also the inability to leave the app and come back without being disconnected. It also does not have the LOGMEIN function of auto login and auto ctrl-alt-delete.

Price point and upgrade are definitely on the roadmap

"Simple to use support platform"

What do you like best?

It's a quick and effective method to gain access to a users PC to provide support and a great way to monitor incoming requests.

What do you dislike?

MSP Anywhere does what it says on the box, it's a support platform to gain access to remote PC's, there is nothing to dislike.

"Great so far"

What do you like best?

So far it has been vastly superior to the original program we used, LogMeIn; it's been much quicker, it has less extraneous stuff that slows everything down and less obtrusive toolbars and commands

What do you dislike?

We haven't been using it for to long so I can't say anything particularly negative about the program yet; it has had a few login hiccups, though it's difficult to tell if that's due to the clients network or the program itself.

Pretty much anything that requires remote connection, checking program setups on the target machine, etc.

"Used to Be Affordable"

What do you like best?

When this software belonged to a little company called BeAnywhere it was everything that an independent IT person wanted. You could call and talk to a person in techsupport and the software was very affordable even in it's enterprise function.

What do you dislike?

Since it's acquisition by the conglomerate, greedy and overpriced MSP the software has doubled in price, you have to sign contracts and the company is difficult to communicate with. The package is pretty much the same and I used it faithfully for almost 10 years but now it's fallen into the hands of a company that has a reputation for overcharging for their services. There are still a great deal of IT software solutions out there that don't cost an arm and a leg that out perform their software and service.

The competition offers the same for less and there are many to choose from. Find one you like best and go with pricing because they all pretty much have the same features.

"Take control pros and contra"

What do you like best?

The best about Solarwinds is the chat support, thay are always available and trying to resolve your problem. Since the update from MSP anywhere to Take control the soft is more stable related to connection and video quality

What do you dislike?

If you create a client and you forgot to marked as a client you cant do it later. The printer redirection for clients require remote desktop connection

"Works as advertised"

What do you like best?

I enjoy the small footprint of the program.

What do you dislike?

It is difficult to re-open if you minimize it. You have to actually launch it from the system tray as opposed to the taskbar, even if it is already running in the background. Very odd, but I work around it.

The business problem solved here is our need to quickly and efficiently provide remote support to our customers on demand. Given that this is similar to LogMeIn Rescue, yet much less expensive, it functions quite well.

"Good and Bad about Take Control"

What do you like best?

It has an easy interface. The learning curve is smoothly and fast. The web interface give you a lot of info. You can track technicians and manage a lot of features

What do you dislike?

The connection with old servers is slow even if you set the settings that Solarwinds recommends

"Could not get anything done without it."

What do you like best?

Reliable and easy for our clients to use. Love the history of support connections made.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes is slow to connect/stay connected. I don't like having to login/out from my laptop vs. PC. Should allow logins from different places & just limit the number of active support connections instead of users.

Take Control is a very robust and fast remote support tool, great price and works well with high resolution monitors.

"MSP Anywhere review"

What do you like best?

It provides our techs/engineers with the ability to remote in to any PC at any given time.

What do you dislike?

The only issue is it prompts for admin credentials to install the software which sometime prohibits us from remoting in to the PC.

"Great mobile application"

What do you like best?

I use msp take control all the time for their registry editor which allows me to fix all the pcs problems with no downtime on the front end use

What do you dislike?

The mobile application although amazing could use a little bit more points

"Great Product"

What do you like best?

I have used MSP Anywhere at my last two companies and I love it. It makes connecting to client computers so seamless that anyone could do. No more fumbling around for 20 minutes to get connected to a user to troubleshoot their issues.

What do you dislike?

The only issue is the updates that you have to do but don't have notice before you try connecting to the customer.

Quicker client resolutions. Easier access without VPN to customer servers which leads to faster resolution.

"Attended support"

What do you like best?

We use MSP Anywhere as a backup for N-Central's MSP Connect and we like how we can quickly connect to a client's machine to troubleshoot their issue. We can also install on servers ahead of time for unattended support.

What do you dislike?

The administration side is a little cumbersome and I can no longer reset my tech's passwords.

When our primary remote support tool is not working, MSP Anywhere is a good quick way to get connected and resolve our client's problems.

The ease with which you can carry out all the tasks that you need from one central console.

I have had occasional issues between the online portal and the desktop in the past, but this seems to have been resolved in recent iterations.
