I personally thinks that if Solarwinds really wants to help its customer in doing basic jobs done easily then please think about the balancing of cost as well. **Recommendations to others considering SolarWinds Standard Toolset:** you can use toolset if you wants to save time for yourself and monitoring team when it comes to verify any alert which needs to be checked at solarwinds server level. Because usually Ping and Trace Route needs to be checked from server end but using Toolset you can actually do it directly from the console of the solarwinds if you have enough license. But number of users depend on number of licenses so its costly because each user license will be billed. **What problems is SolarWinds Standard Toolset solving and how is that benefiting you?** None as of now since its very costly that's why nobody is using it. ### 2.
