I like the amount of things you can monitor and get reports on from the LEM tool. There are multiple platforms, including virtualized that are available. The LEM puts it all in one place and you can generate reports based on events, device type, platform, etc. It makes managing connectivity and resources easier. At first it's not intuitive unless you monitor devices for a living. I've been in IT over 10 years but until I started using LEM I'd never had the opportunity to use a similar tool. I was a little overwhelmed by the enormousness and volume of the items you can monitor for the different types of nodes/platforms/events, especially in our large organization.
