When we initially deployed this product we were looking for something to fill many roles to include a syslog server to archive sensitive logs, event detection and alerting for common issues like failed circuits and password lockouts, attempts to log in with privileged accounts, and any infrastructure changes such as changes to Microsoft AD. It is good for SIEM software and for pulling event data against networks for small businesses. It is also easy to pick up and use for all even those with little to no prior experience.
