The initial set up of my survey was really easy! I was using Google Forms for my pilot and am appreciating all of the design features available in SoGoSurvey. The only thing I was missing with the free version was the matrix-type questions. I was able to solve this by using something they call a multiple drop down. I actually like this format better because sometimes with a matrix question, you can’t see the scale options when you get to the last question in the matrix. The multiple drop down format ensures that the survey taker can always see all of the choices easily. Set up was very intuitive. I appreciated all of the embedded help text. I would like to use the branching/logic options, but this currently isn’t available with the free version. I’m hoping it will be available with the free student account, which I am hoping to be able to upgrade to with this review. I will keep everyone posted! Once I get everything set up, I hope to start collecting data soon! Then I will be able to comment on the data analysis features. I am mainly looking to use descriptive statistics in my analysis. I like the drag and drop survey building, and that you can have conditional questions. It's not hard to brand, and you can easily send the survey link out for people to complete. I even found you can embed a survey in a iView or text editor tool that allows html if you need to for a website or your employee internet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used for an executive business review survey and had to use a table style rating (likert) scale for feature usage. To get the survey responses to export properly we had to export raw data which meant an extra step in excel cleaning up. This was mainly due to the way our survey was constructed but I do think that it would be useful to have a more robust option for a single question with multiple rating responses.
