What do you like best about Software AG Adabas?

It is a very powerful database. It has a very efficient query language and allows you to work with files quickly and easily. It integrates perfectly with the NATURAL language of Software AG. In the latest versions, it adapts perfectly to a Linux system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Software AG Adabas?

Since it is not a relational database, it is quite difficult to get used to at first. Integration with external products is a bit costly. It requires a database administrator for more advanced management. Sometimes it gets "held" with a file and it is necessary to unlock it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Software AG Adabas:

It is not easy to get used to at first. Read a lot of documentation and have the possibility to consult with an experienced administrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
