Very user friendly interface which allows for a very flexible website build, structure, which now features many AI powered customization tools. The AI is set to be improved and refined but it already helped me make many great additions to my homepage (Visit petergrigorian.com) and my proprietary internal webpage. The Softr features great integration capabilities, especially integration with Airtable which is crucial to me since my entire database is stored there. Softr also has a very reliable support team - they recently helped me out with connecting my domain, as well as a couple times when I had troubles or questions, the AI chatbot or their actual employees were right there to help me out. The user experience inside the builder is pretty sleek and accessible. I can confidently state that from all website builders I ever had on my hands, Softr was the easiest one to learn and actually deploy. The changes are stored easily, website updates fast with the new changes. Even at very hard tasks as f.e. generating a big heavy block which relies on pulling data from my database with AI does take time but it is flawless. The pricing of Softr is a bit over exaggerated and a little bit inaccessible, but with how many awesome tools they deliver on a free plan user as me, and with them recently introducing the 50% discount for non-profit and students I'm probably going to switch to an edu discount since I'm currently a student Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Probably the paid plans being a bit pricy Also the design flexibility is a bit whacky (I feel like there should be a way to change the entire design of a website with AI since currently AI changes do apply to designs but only to the block which you currently have selected which is not very convenient since you need a fluid design language throughout the whole webpage. Softr has evolved to be one of the best full-stack app builders out there. It doesn't stop at that but also reached a point where AI capabilities have been really emphasized. Being able to build an app, whether it's vibe-coded or not, has never been easier with Softr. They have all the building blocks needed to make a software ready for usage - database, workflows, interface, AI, vibe code, you name it, they have it. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use for the building process. They're working tirelessly to enable integrations through Softr Workflows + Rest API so that businesses can integrate their current system. With Softr Databases, the performance and speed have improved exponentially. Moreover, the pricing is very competitive considering all the features they offer. One of the best things we love about Softr is the community - both internal and external. Softr made it incredibly easy to build fast, SEO-optimized programmatic FAQ directories in just 1-2 days. The drag-and-drop interface and out-of-the-box Google Sheets and Softr Database integrations meant we could get data in quickly without scripts or bulk API requests. The pages are heavily optimized for SEO, fast loading, accessibility, and mobile out of the box - all things that matter when trying to rank on Google. We built 3 help directories (for Intercom, Zendesk and Shopify topics) and each one was quicker than the last - the final one took under an hour to go live. The main challenge we encountered was with data management when using Google Sheets as our initial data source - it became clunky for our content team to update and manage at scale. However, once we discovered Softr Databases, this was largely resolved as it made bulk changes and collaboration on the dataset much faster and easier. We needed to build programmatic SEO help directories at scale - hundreds of FAQ pages for Intercom, Zendesk and Shopify topics - quickly and without heavy maintenance overhead. Previously we tried Bubble but it couldn't deliver fast-loading, SEO-friendly pages with easy Google Sheets integration. Softr solved this by letting us spin up the first directory in 1-2 days, with each subsequent site taking even less time (the last one under an hour). The pages rank well on Google and we've seen strong traffic results: our Shopify directory alone has 3,625 pages indexed with 13,515 search impressions and 665 GA4 page views. The Zendesk directory has 14,589 GA4 page views. Softr's low-code approach, combined with Softr Databases for easy content management, meant we could build and manage these at a fraction of the cost of custom development. After struggling to find other softwares to support building a job board, Softr made it easy to create and integrate our job board into our platform. I appreciate Softr being reliable for us to regularly update our job board with limited problems navigating their site. It's easy to make updates with our Airtable integration and simple to test previews before publishing. Additionally, the support available to me is always timely and continues to be the best customer service I've received comparatively to any other platform / software I've used. It can be difficult to manage newer versions of app blocks - especially when it requires recreating aspects of blocks that are critical for regular operation of our job board. I wish it was easier to automatically update blocks from pervious versions of the platform rather than starting over. When the blocks have to be recreated to make updates, it’s incredibly difficult to have capacity to make those updates as a small, solo team. I also wish it was easier to see the previous and current changes in the queue before publishing. Sometimes I'll notice there's a "latest" version to publish days after using the platform and often forget what the most recent change was, but there isn't an option to view previous changes anywhere. With Softr, we were able to curate a job board to streamline sharing postings and improve user experience / accessibility for job seekers in our community.
